A team that is capable of putting in such a sub par, insipid performance in the position we are in doesn't deserve to go up.

One thing is for sure, Baldock and Stevens are not the answer after the end of the season and they aren't earning their no doubt decent wages either. Both created naff all.

Davies can go back now. He's far too uncompetitive at this level. For all his faults, get Robinson back in asap instead of Davies.

Hourihane takes occasionally decent set plays but he disappears into a black hole for half the match. I wasn't sure but he has nothing to add to this team.

Osborn can go too. He has his moments but he's just not outstanding at anything. If you're little, you need to be good to overcome that. He doesn't score, doesn't create, he's weak physically.

McBurnie is a waste of time. Never gets anywhere near a position to score a goal. I don't know what happened to him. Maybe he has a twin who is still held hostage in Swansea.

Gibbs-White for all the good he does at times, he also needs to acknowledge that he has some absolute stinkers too where he just needs to get the basics right and stop chucking away possession.

Berge as well, looks more the part and should have started but Christ he gave the ball away twice under no pressure to invite them onto us and he's bloody dopey at trudging back when he has given it away.

All the best players are injured and that's bad luck. But the rest of them? Christ. If this team went up it would be a very hard season to watch.

Injuries starting to bite, especially up top, but that was an all round abysmal showing.

The problem now is that these performances are coming more often. Cov, Stoke, today....

Too many players on their heels first half not looking anywhere near up for it.

Far too many soft late goals conceded under both Slav and Hecky but that today was criminal.

A point would have felt like a get out of jail card after the performance and other results.

However, it's now no longer in our own hands and we look completely impotent going forward.

POOR TEAM SELECTION AGAIN. WHY DIDN'T HE PLAY BERGE FROM THE START WITH A VIEW TO TAKING HIM OFF IF WE WERE COMFORTABLE. HOURIHANE, NORWOOD & OSBORN, DEAR ME. ANY PRESSING TEAM REALLY SHOW OUR LIMITATIONS OF BEING SLOW & WEAK.

NOT TO MENTION THAT ATTROCIOUS DEFENDING.

I still can't get my head around how shit that winning goal was for them from a United defensive point of view. We had just scored a late goal to save ourselves and all we had to do was defend a routine free kick in the box and even that was beyond us today. It was almost laughably bad, but the trouble was it absolutely pissed me off how unprofessional they were today. Basic football. Defend that free kick, re-set yourself and have a go with 3 to go. Couldn't even defend a hopeful chuck into our box after getting a get out of jail equaliser. Scandalous. Not often United affect me these days, but I'm fkin fuming with the set of heartless unprofessional cock sockets today. They can all fuck off for me.

Spot on

Despite that wretched performance, the other results today have conspired to keep us in a playoff place. It's silly season now with some teams fighting for the lives, results can go either way. Still all to play for UTB ⚔️

I admire your positivity, I really do. But the lot of them today deserve a red hot poker being pushed up their shitter after that performance. From minute 5 afterwards it was totally appalling and a shambles. Hecky and management too. They all deserve to have their wages docked this week. If your plumber turned up and was absolutely fkin awful with the job he was doing for you and made a right fuck up you sure as hell wouldn't be paying the fucker afterwards. They should all be embarrassed to claim their wages this week.

Where the questions:
What's one of the most boring matches you've watched?
What's one of the most frustrating matches you've watched?

I usually like Osborn but fuck me sideways, how bad was he today. He shouild have had the hook at half time. Poor from PH.
He was shite. Few times on the break he carries the ball and just gifts them the ball through a sheer lack of quality. A few crap crosses too.

As much as I'd like to put up a counter argument to what you say, I find myself agreeing to everything you've put....

😥😥😥

A few disagreements...
Osborn. Sticking him in CM ahead of Berge was beyond baffling for starters. He looked even worse still, when deployed as an all left-footed RWB in the second half. He once created a goal from nothing a few matches ago, when he started a sting at RWB. Every other game/substitute appearance/tactical shift that saw him played there has been a waste of a shirt as every team seemed to know better than PH that he's so 'all left foot' he's easy to take out of the game for the duration. Why he was set up as inside RM today for 80 minutes is beyond me as he's no better there due to his lefty ness. If he'd played inside of and in support of Stevens, we might have got some use out of him for 90 minutes not the last 10. This then brings in to question how 'bad' Baldock and Stevens were today. With Osborn inside of him for most of the game, and the novelty signing Uremovic behind him, it was down to Norwood to pick out Baldock with a couple of cross field balls, otherwise his first half contributions were, as we saw, very lacking. To then relegate him primarily to RCB with Osborn in front of him, did neither of them any favours. Ditto, Stevens having Hourihane inside him and the woeful Davies behind him, left him almost with three players jobs to do for most of the game. All three players today, imho, were the victims of woeful team selection and tactics, if there were any, by PH.

Which makes it even worse that these lot couldn’t be arsed to muster up a half decent performance!

Play-off contenders playing each other in other fixtures made it a must win for us today. Unacceptable performance in the circumstances.

We miss Bash our player that likes to bring the ball out and run at players instead of being happy to pass the ball off as soon as a player gets in front of them. When did Hourihane Norwood take on a man and drive past him ,nope easy route pass it off.

Best plumber int world couldn't fix our leaky defence today 😆

A typical SUFC performance at bank holiday. Big crowd, sunny day never turned up. Manager showed his limitations to-day. After a promising start he has become wedded to 3-5-1-1-.

Were playing the fourth bottom team in the league with 1 forward who hasn't scored in Eons. Why not 3-4-2-1 from the start. Ndiaye or Berge in the second number 10 role. We are just too insipid in midfield. A flat 3 of Norwood, Hourihane and Osborn provides little in the way of pace and to-day lost all the second balls. Osborn and Hourihane were shocking and the tactical change at half time made matters worse.

We put Osborn out wide right and all the attacks are halted whilst he has to get the ball on his left foot. Davies is bullied by Joao losing him for the first goal and is too easily brushed off the ball when Joao hits the post. Robinson for Davies would have been a better change as it ultimately cost us at the end.

Late on when we push Egan into an attacking role we score and miss 2 good chances showing that if we had been bolder earlier it may have led to a different result. The manager needs to show some balls and go for it in games now. There is no excuse for the shambolic defending for Readings second goal. We still haven't learnt how to defend the ball in the air on the left of the defence late on. Udders, Preston and now Reading, once is bad enough but 3 times is criminal.

I also like Osborn, but Jesus, I can’t recall coming across a footballer so one footed in 45 years of watching footie, a professional footballer who can’t pass 10 yds with the wrong Foot is ridiculous, saying that, why play him on the right? 🤷‍♂️

If the main question was "How wank can we possibly be?" we answered it brilliantly thoroughly.

Reading keeper didn't get his gloves dirty for the first 85 mins.
No movement in the first half from the "front 3". Not sure what that line up was. When Mcburnie got the knock in the first half it was the ideal time to hook him and change the formation.everyone could see it.

Also too much pissing around when low balls could go into the box.ask any defender a low hard cross into the six yard area will cause bother. Too often we overplayed around the area and nothing comes of it.

Starting formation was 3-4-2-1 today.

Some rather generous ratings in the image above though 🙂.

If that was the intention it didn't work. Osborn never got close to Mcb and Gibbs White and was too deep meaning there were numerous occasions where Mcb was the only player in the box marked by 3 players.

The decision to play him as a 10 is even more baffling. He doesn't go past players and creates nothing offensively. He ruins around a lot but creates little with the ball at his feet. Ndiaye and Berge are far better options as they have the ability to go past players. PH has made a mess of team selection to-day and this decision compounds it.

I will be so glad when most of this squad is shipped out. Please let it be this Summer. Another season of watching McBurnie, Steven’s, Baldock, Norwood, Hourihane and Osborne and I will be performing Hari Kari.

I think he's great and he's given us pretty much all of our excitement and positive moments this season- but he'd be a mile better if he picked his moments better.

But today I thought it was worse than that. Toward the end there were times when he looked up at a free team mate and thought he'd be better going himself. He didn't trust them to do anything positive and you can't blame him.

Most teams can be good sometimes
Most teams can be terrible sometimes

But there is a special level of absolute fucking mind numbing fucking shit that is specially reserved for the fans of this club

Speaking of mind numbing shite,…..
