No it isn’t! We were promoted twice and relegated twice (and counting) under Diplodocus Dave. Tufty has taken us from league one obscurity to the auto places in the Championship.
The neo-hoofers pretend that reality ain’t so. They see things as they would like them to be, not how they are. They’re doing it again with the gerritintbox drivel. We’ll be crossing from the half-way line next.
Sometimes, I despair.

Sorry, I'm not with you here.
Wilder has achieved more because he has taken us to the automatic places in the division below where we spent 4 consecutive seasons under Bassett. Longer than under anyone else since Harris. Interesting perspective.
We obviously didn't spend 4 seasons at a higher level than we are now? Blimey. The beer must have been a lot stronger back then. Could have sworn we did.
Carry on with the despair. I'll just be happy that Bassett achieved that.
And if Wilder achieves it I'll be happy as well.
You see, the difference between you and me is that I can celebrate success when it comes the way of Sheffield United, regardless of who is the manager and whether or not his way of playing coincides with my own preferences.
