Personally, not that bothered but desperate for the three points. I want to see us safe before the end of the season and just watch a few games without being nervous. It would be a novelty in the top flight.
My thinking is that if we can secure the extra season’s parachute payments we have a much better chance of getting back out of the championship should we get relegated in a future season.

I say carry on the animosity. One dismal League Cup exit and Doyle showboating doesn't heal the wounds of being dumped out of the PL because they cheated and got away with it. Sure, they had Bobby 'Bobby' Moore and Geoff 'Geoff' Hurst and Frank 'Frank's Dad' Lampard, but who gives a shit? They signed and played two players they didn't own, were told to either complete the deal or not play them, told the FA to fuck off and clearly struck a deal with Man U to secure our relegation at their advantage in a deal for the very fucking player at the centre of the scandal. And then hauled us over the coals legally to eke a paltry admission and compensation which McCabe used to set fire to his farts with. Any heaped misery I see piled on their 'Leeeeeev-id-aaaaaht!' shoulders is a brief but enjoyable spell of joy. The only way it can be repaired fully and those lot begrudgingly forgiven is if they get relegated this season, and next season, they have Weir, Clough and Adkins as their manager, they sign Dean Hammond, Conor Sammon and Higdon and play in their cavernous stadium to 1467 bored, listless 'fans' losing to the likes of Port Vale and their triumphant end-of season lap of honour is met with screams of 'fuck off you useless cunts!' from the terraces. It wouldn't matter much however, because them on the pitch wouldn't be able to hear it unless it was through a loudhailer.

Only then we might be quits.
