Time to change the shape

Best have looked all season. I think that is down to having more support outwide (Burke and Bogle) today with a different shape. Watch the video to see my full reaction, enjoy UTB!

Even discounting his goal, Bogle was impressive and must get a run in the team now. Both defensively and going forward there’s a real player there.

Yes and the irony is he is a rb just like Baldock. Both deserve to be in the team. Hopefully this means that Wilder will know he now has to change the shape. Because when we had wingers supporting the wingbacks yesterday, it looked the best we have been all season.

I can't put into words how happy I would be if we lined up like that. Basham looks a different gravy in midfield.

I feel he's had a poor season, but yesterday he didn't put a foot wrong. Looked good all game. The problem if we put Ampadu in defence is we have nobody to play in midfielder. Unless you want to play Norwood, I wouldn't currently feel confident him doing that.

Ampadu is the only player I would trust in a 2 with Egan.

We don't now and this was Wilder's biggest mistake during the window. Fleck is garbage of late, Norwood has lost form, Berge injured and Lunny wants out and is suspended. Maybe go back to Bassett's tactics, play Moose/Burke/Brewster up top and boot it back to front.

me anall want us to change to a back 4 for ages and until joc gets back ampadu would be the one for me to partner egan and yeah get bash back to midfield as the defensive midfielder might be worth giving 442 a shot now weve nowt to lose but think i would have osborn in front of enda in lm and ideally mousset and brewster up front with burke coming on in last 25 or so to run at tired defenders

Yeah I just feel that we would look stronger with having Ampadu in Midfield and Robinson in defence. Rather than, Ampadu in defence and Norwood/ Fleck in midfield.

Yeah, I've been thinking/ saying since the Leeds game it had to happen. It's no surprise that with a back 4 and support from the wings we've looked the best all season, along with the fact we had one less player on the pitch too says it all!

Lundstram getting sent off was a blessing, he’ll be unavailable and give players who want to play the opportunity.

I think both will have to go in midfield though as we have no other options there. I agree though, Basham is better as a cb
