It was a knee-jerk reaction to get rid of Warnock immediately after we were relegated. He performed wonders in the Premiership IMO. No one expected us to stay up but he almost pulled it off. It it hadn't been for Tevez, and any of a large number of dodgy refereeing decisions, we'd still be there now.
Terms like "we should be looking to the future instead of the past" and "it's time to move on from Warnock" are empty rhetoric. We all know he would give it his all, and probably do a better job for us than most other managers.
However, Blackwell is our manager now. He has just had a great, exciting season. We failed to be promoted automatically by a single goal (Brum's against us at St Andrew's) and made the Play Off Final.
Currently we have had a few disappointing results but we are in the top half of the table - not bad given the fact that we have lost plenty of last season's top performers to transfers, injuries and bans.
No reason to sack Blackie. It shouldn't even be a topic of conversation.
