It’s not one or the otherWould be a good option and a much lower risk than Soumaré.

Soumaré would be a foreign loan though. The limit is 5 domestic ones isn't it?
You can have as many loans as you like, but can only have a maximum of 5 in the match day squadOverseas loans count toward the 5 (source - google).
Is a million initial loan fee really a big risk?Would be a good option and a much lower risk than Soumaré.
Not sure leaking a link to another player gets work permit issues sorted faster.Wonder whether we’re linking ourselves to this lad, to move matters along with Soumare?

It is for someone according to the manager. Is work permit the outstanding issue?
You can forget Arblaster as any sort of regular starter until at least Christmas and given the style of play under Selles and the workrate required, you can easily see players regularly getting 20-25 minutes off the bench, so rotating to keep them fresh could be what we're going for.Apparently he’s quality, but does beg the question if indeed we’re going for both where Peck and Arblaster would fit in? Both are real quality at this level.
Selles said it's a clear cut application but these things just take time. It'll be done this week I'm sure.
Just out of curiosity I checked what the average match time in the Championship was last season, and apparently it was over 104 minutes, therefore my estimate would probably be central midfielders from the bench playing potentially 30-35 minutes which I think also means it would be sensible for us to look at 2 more central players for a 46 game season. I'd also assume it would have a significant positive impact on results if we're able to refresh the intensity of the press when most opponents won't have the same options as us. It could be a flex of our parachute position to realise a significant competitive gain. You can forget Arblaster as any sort of regular starter until at least Christmas and given the style of play under Selles and the workrate required, you can easily see players regularly getting 20-25 minutes off the bench, so rotating to keep them fresh could be what we're going for.
Never really watched much of him to form an opinion but I like the look of his style from this video. Big and strong, can take the ball at protect it in tight spaces, reminds me of a young Pogba in the way he moves with the ball.

Leeds & Burnley were both able to do that last season.Excellent point.
Just as the top Premiership teams can run lesser teams ragged for 60 minutes and then bring on 5 full internationals to really rub the salt in, we should be looking to do similar in the Championship.
