Jesus, thought everyone knew what a Tifo is, but just for you (obviously non footy fan people), let me explain.
Tifo is the word used to describe a colourful, vibrant and usually choreographed visual display by football supporters. It is also a phenomenon in other sports, such as cycling and auto racing.

Displays of a tifo normally occur within stadiums before and during games but can also take place outside a ground.

In many cases the visual displays are carefully planned and often each individual supporter forms part of a mosaic by wearing or holding a particular colour.

The answer is quite simple. The cinema is rife with CGI recently. Our underused, but talented social media team could easily produce any crowd effect, to replace a whole stand.

Away fans are an easy target and there would be few concerns about how dated it was, with the press of a button, the Kop could be turned into a maelstrom of celebrating a home goal, or a moving show of a library, if fans are too quiet.

Shown on big screens live at matches, and a source of amusement for MoTD pundits for replays the same day.

If you really want a BLUT singing section, just add a soundtrack. Supporters who are easily offended can complain after the fact.

It would need someone with a sense of humour to operate it and take all the flack from senior management, but no one else has to do anything, and we are all very good at doing that!
