When I've ordered tickets on line I've been charged £1-00 booking fee. From today these charges are banned, will we still get charged disguised as postage?

Think it's them charging more for credit cards than debit cards that's been banned

On this subject, is there a way to buy tickets online for the cup game without having to register each individual person? I'm bringing some friends from out of the region and seems daft to have to register their every detail when i will be sorting the tickets

Don’t think so. I tried to buy a ticket at the ticket office for a mate and they said I needed to register him as everyone must be on their database.

You could always register them under your address I suppose?

I've registered mates under my address Swiss, doesn't seem to be any issue with doing that and all tickets get sent to me as a result which is pretty useful

Was that for the cup game or the Leeds game? I had problems getting my daughter a ticket for that game, but was told she must be on the data base. When I explained she lived abroad, they said they would make an exception. I can understand being a bit careful for Leeds, but not for Preston.

Cheers! I got our lass to go down and pick them up from the ticket office this afternoon, she didn't say that they needed to register, so think it was ok

I ordered 3 tickets for the original home game against Villa and was charged the £1 admin fee. I had to return the tickets to get a refund when the game was moved and was charged another £1 admin fee for the pleasure. I then bought 3 tickets for PNE and was charged another £1 admin fee. Dick Turpin wore a mask !

When I booked tickets for the game at deepdale, taking some some friends and their kids, I had to register all of them. But they were happy to use my address and just a rough idea of birthday. Seems a little pointless to me.

Yep. Booked our ST seats for Preston yesterday, and was charged a quid for the privilege of subjecting myself to an automated process that activated our season cards. If I'd stopped by the ground on my way to and from town, costing me nowt extra in travel, and a real person had needed to spend waged person-time sorting me, it would've cost nothing extra.

Fucked up, and annoying as hell, or what ?

Do you still pay an extra quid if you collect the tickets?
I always get my tickets sent out to me and thought the one quid was for postage!

They must make an absolute fortune in booking fees. I don’t see why either, you’re doing all the work yourself.

Print the tickets
Fold and place in the envelope
Postage- first class at 64p
Leaves 36p for the rest.
Seems fair and reasonable to me.

Ya tight bastards
