I do this with my dad's sky but recently the app keeps telling me he needs to be subscribed to watch. He is. I can't figure it out. Very annoying.

I've got kodi on a fire stick but haven't figureday out a good sky link. The obvious ones on exodus, where you just go to the channel, either have no stream or one that is pants and I'd rather not watch. Am I missing something here kodi lovers?
Castaway and zem tv sports always good for me

Sky Go used to be free, but I think they rumbled what people were doing, so now you have to pay £5 a month to specifically subscribe to Sky Go

Really? That's harsh. If you get Sky Sports on Virgin Media then you can access Sky Go with your Virgin Media credentials.

What speed Internet have you got ? From what I can gather , the speed of your Internet connection can have a big impact upon the quality of streaming you get ?

On a slightly different subject ...... how do you download modbro to your phone ? I've tried a few times and it just won't fully download the app ?????
I've got BT fibre optic plugged in to the tv so should be good internet - although I hate BT

If you're on android you need download the .apk from the official Mobdro site, then to go into Settings/Security and allow installation from unknown sources (then turn it back off afterwards) before installation.

I can't get it to work on my tablet. It only seems to work properly on Android phones.

Works OK on my very cheapo android tablet. Think it does work on Apple devices but I don't have apple so can't verify any of this:

As an aside (and I know we're getting way OT here) can anyone recommend a decent kodi box? There are thousands out there on places like ebay and it gets a bit mind-numbing going through it all with the quad/octo core, and different versions of android on offer.

Sky Go is still free for all Sky customers and works on up to 2 devices, you can only register one different device per month so people can't go sharing it with lots of friends at once, but it should work for anyone with a valid Sky subscription.

Sky Go Extra costs £5, but is free if you have multiroom and lets you use it on up to 4 different devices and download things.

Anytime gents, yeah it's a great app int it. Just watch out for your data usage, it's too easy to get carried away! :D
