One player who has always intrigued me is Duffy. Spent his career dicking around in the lower leagues and it took Wilder to realise his potential and fit him in a system where he excels. Trouble is, as we saw last year, he's now getting on and it's unrealistic to expect him to play 46 full games next season, probably half of that is more likely if you count it as minutes played. So it wouldn't surprise me if Wilder is scouting for the next Duffy as this type of player is crucial to the way we play. As with Duffy, it wouldn't surprise me again if Wilder is looking under the radar in L1 and one player who attracts my attention is Graham Carey at Argyle. He scores and assists in equal quantities from a role similar to Duffy and would fit straight into our system. Forget the £millions being touted for some of those mentioned, could this guy, or someone very similar, be the next rabbit Wilder pulls out of the hat?
Well yeah he 33?? (or very nearly) & anyone that age doesnt have the recovery to play sat tues/wed sat. & yeah heard of him in that run they had from bottom of the league to play off challengers in a few months. But if its him or woodburn. You could see so easily & worryingly when duffy was out our team looks lack of ideas
