Three in Seven....Point Predictions?

Three in a week then starting this t'neet at home to Bury.

I think when games come this thick and fast, that it is important to build some momentum to carry you through all three fixtures therefore I think it is imperative that we get off to a decent start with a handsome win against this lot tonight.

Don't get me wrong we can beat all three of these, we have shown this with our performances in recent weeks however momentum and confidence does go a long way. In a sense it is a good thing that this fixture comes along so quick after our only real "wobble" of late (if you can call it that).....because it gives us a chance to record a massive confidence boosting victory prior to two of the most difficult fixtures of the season against two somewhat bogey teams.

Personally I would quite happily take 7 points from a possible 9 in this lot.....At home we should be beating Bury and a full strength team should be looking to reverse the tinpot cup scoreline of last month, with this in mind I am hoping for maximum home points...Charlton away, a bit of a tricky one against who we could consider a bogey team I suppose. A tough game really and I would happily take a draw and would be over the moon if we take all three points.

I am going for 7 points and a on steams the "Blades Unbeaten Express".......

Let's be optimistic, why not 9 points? Set our stall high, no half measures, not only should we set out to win every game, we have the capabilities to win far more than we lose or draw. With 29 league games remaining we have it within us to gain a further 75 points, add to that the existing 34 points, giving us 109 points, and we'd set records difficult to come close to. Not that records concern me too much, but promotion is a definitely achievable goal, that is, if we want it badly enough. Come the end of January and it should be clear to one and all that we're serious contenders. We've shown we can build a momentum, and this has been achieved because we're good enough. If, in the January Transfer Window, Wilder is allowed to buy positively, not just to strengthen the squad, but to bring in players capable of making promotion possible, then we're only going in one direction.....out of this division and forward to the Championship UTB!
