This is my first chance to add my thoughts and feeling from Plymouth.

To be honest we didn't take a great deal of supporters down there (500ish) but there was not much getting on the sides back, and i can't understand why we never seem to take a big following down there as Plymouth is one of the best away trips there is for a big night out after the match.

The match was not up to much to be quite honest, but thankfully the 500 or so there didn't get on the sides back (well with the exception of the two fat obnoxious women who follow United everywhere, with the Pom-Poms, and always seem to appear on the television, and i do not apologise is they are reading this as i think the way they barracked and heckled James Harper for 88 minutes was disgusting), and for 498 supporters the late goal was a rich reward for the long journey and having to witness 88 minutes of what is called attritional football.

I've been to Plymouth before, and i'll go again if the Blades play down there, my sister lives there so i have got a good excuse to selling it to Mrs Brown.

The other thing that will live long in the memory, is a cracking night out down on Plymouth Barbican. It seemed like there was Blades i have seen and spoken to in the past in every pub and i really felt the love and mutual respect that comes with being a long-standing member of the Blades family.

The other good thing about Plymouth away is that there is only one nasty Burger Van near the ground, but shitloads of Pasty vans instead and i enjoyed a huge Oggy before the match

There were 631 of us, brownie, more than last year! I have also been to Home park numerous times, but although the weather always seems to be wet & windy, I have never seen it as bad as it was last Saturday. It was never going to be a classic, but what was pleasing was the determination and professionalism shown by the team. I also thought that team selection was right for the conditions, Kallios strength & height worked well as did Killa moving back alongside Morgs. We missed Hendo up front desperately, but the key was Monty who did what he does best. Those women annoy everybody, cant see why they bother to go, all they ever do is moan. Harpers goal was worthy of winning any game.

Good points. I thought Kallio looked like a typical no-nonsense defender who did the simple stuff very well.

Monty in my book had a good solid game, kept on running, didn't misplace many passes and kept driving us on

I applaud every last one of you 631. Well done!

It's the sort of journey I used to make as a matter of routine [twice on a Tuesday night!] but age, work, family responsibilities and golf have put a stop to long away trips.

Sounds like the pasties are just as good as 20-30 years ago!

Once again, hats off to 631 Top Blades.

the two fat lasses iv seen them everywhere my mum and her fiance despise them, must admit there language is shocking (not saying im perfect because im far from it) but i do have a little bit of respect, on to the match i didnt go couldnt get time off but i listened to it at work and like my uncle always says if you are picking points up playing bad then thats a good sign. up the blades!!

Are they to be found on the Kop at home games? They sound distressingly similar to the two belching, foul-mouthed, fat, uglys I've had the misfortune to sit near in the past.

The horror....

They aren't the two that go to the training ground on regular occasions are they?

Sounds like those who are referred to as "The Fat Family", notorious amongst United's support, certainly heard them expressing some 'choice opinions' before...

Harpers goal was worthy of winning any game.

It was Kallio who scored, even though he was offside. Harper's shot was going a yard wide.

Saturday's game was my fifth visit to Plymouth, and I do quite enjoy the day out. The trouble is, the five times I've been they've always been shit games of football. It must put alot of people off.

We regularly see the Fat Family, as they stand hunched together on the Kop as we make our way to the exit. Today Mummy Fat, mullet slightly flattened by the elements, and coat pulled tightly round her, resembled a fat penguin as she shuffled towards the exit.

These two "women" are embarrassing to say the least! When we went to Crystal Palace last season they were sat a few rows in front of us and they spent the whole match shouting the most obscene language you'll ever hear at a match. There were families with children nearby and they were ready to lynch these two come the end of the match.

They loved Robson being in charge and when Warnock returned to the Lane with Palace after his departure, they were the only ones slagging him off when he got off the coach, saying everyone had forgotten what he had done to the Blades.

how they manage to get on the telly all the time is a mystery to me.

cos they always arrive 10 hours before everyone else...

my "fond" memories of them were

crying and denouncing the death of SUFC when bassett was sacked on TV

michael brown tossing his shirt to them after a game

heavily and very nastily deriding stuart mccall with the roswell offspring (now well blimped up) dressed in a celtic shirt when the team boarded the coach to head off for cardiff for the play off final

fondest memory... just shouting "THEM SPACKERS..." and pointing at the TV whenever they're on

I have seen them a lot, but luckily, don't sit near them very often. My worst memory of them was Birmingham away many years ago. They slagged the players unrelentlessly with some of the worst language I've heard in years!
