did anyone see them? Hull and Crap (Cash) Converters had organized vans with "Think you're dreaming? Think again." written on them.

It was mighty brave to drive 2 of those consistently through Blades fans tanked up on alcohol.

Yeah - one of them went down the outside lane of two and cut in at the front, blocking the outer lane as well, as we were all queueing to filter left - ignorant b'tard

There were one or two bottles laying around on the floor, surprised none ended up through the window of the van.

Due to this one post and the fact that you and others have mentioned it - you've proved it was entirely worth it. They just want to be noticed. That's how advertising works. I doubt they did it 'for the banter' if Cash Converters were involved.

To be fair most fans did not care much for it but I think most people were too pissed to read it anyway. :)

Advertising only works if you give them your business. They obviously think football fans are poor and need to sell their stuff in a manky chav shop. Hmm.

Ultimately yeah. But all they want is for you to have them in the back of your mind. If you're ever in need of some quick money and do need to sell some stuff, they want you to think of them.

Everyone knows there's Coca-cola and McDonalds' available to buy but they still put millions into advertising to keep them in your mind. Whenever you're thirsty they want you to think of Coca-cola. Whenever you're hungry they want you to think of McDonald's.

Whenever you're in desperate need for some quick money, they want you to think of the Cash Converters "way out" (don't do it!).
