Depleted defence, LWB at Centre Half, Attacking midfielder to LWB, then midgame as if it’s not bad enough our backup centre half to RWB - under the kosh a bit - then a sub at half time which changes the game completely. Madine was a colossus and caused havoc, perfect as it pinned them back and caused them all sorts of trouble. McGoldrick outstanding, Cranie too. Can’t fault any of them today.
Ignore the fact they had 10 men because that doesn’t matter so much when your sole intention is to pump the ball up to some really big fuckers and win the second ball. And of course we had a few lads on who haven’t played much football at all running themselves into the ground.
Whatever happens we’re in this for the long haul. We aren’t falling away.
