Listening to one of the first callers on FH tonight going on about how all these 'so-called' fans grumbling about the situation at SUFC should be ashamed of themselves, I have to admit to losing it somewhat.

His opinion was that supporters should do what it says on the tin and support their club rather than criticise.

Sounds pretty logical until you factor in the inescapable, that in order to give this uncritical support, the club will take large quantities of sterling off you for the privilege of fawning over their product.

What he seemed to be saying was, at base, that we should allow the club to take us for granted while we continue to pay their wages. Well, fuck that.

I hear it said that the club will be here long after all this has blown over and long after Blackwell has gone. Well, not without us it won't. And they can only push us so far. Can't they?

theres always some idiots like that ring up. sometimes i wonder if people like that arent actually plants - i cant remember the last time i went to an away game and thought, i MUST ring FH and make my feelings felt!!!

To be quite honest i don't listen to it any more, as the numpties that ring it up usually have me getting all sweary at the radio.

Mind you having said that i think they saved my number after my last phone call to them as whenever i try to call them i dont get put through, mind you that was a spectacularly long-winded and drunken rant about the conduct of Neil Warnock openly courting the Pompey job, after United had been beaten at Leicester in the promotion season. In my defence it was swear free though!
