Are you sure about that...

I wouldn't judge West Ham on 1 game.
I'd expect us to finish above at least 4 of those 6 teams I listed.

They have all scored and against better teams than us
Who have Fulham and Villa scored against who's better than us??
Need to rejig the system, its tired and predictable.
I have it on good authority we are skint and unless we borrow monies gone.
As soon as I read Jack O'Connell maybe out for the season I knew we were fucked. A more defensive style of play, absolutely no goals from the midfield or forwards can only mean one thing. Without 2 or 3 new players then I don't see how we can get the points required. Prince it's up to you now, back Wilder or expect relegation and losing him.
I think our realities differ mate. Let's park it thereI agree mate... positive mindset is how you should approach every situation in life... even the most difficult and one a that actually matter (outside of football)
We have to be realists though... these lads will always give their all and today the. Performance was there.
But (and it’s a big but) they stats don’t lie we don’t score enough and now we concede too. Wilder is starting to sound frustrated and the board seemingly don’t want to spend anymore cash. I’m addition we now have lost our 1st choice centre back and our rock in the middle is to miss another two games.
Anyone can smell relegation in the air - the harsh reality is we could be cut adrift 10 games in - not negative just realist.
We are almost certainly going to be bottom now after 8 games so it's all about the confidence levels being high enough to claw things back. Obviously it's way too early to say we are going down but we are going to have to show some proper bottle.
So essentially you're saying O'Connell is worth 20 points? As soon as I read Jack O'Connell maybe out for the season I knew we were fucked. I can't for the life of me understand why we didn't sign a replacement for Jack when we knew he was injured from last season. I would rather have kept Kieron Freeman at right back cover and spent the Bogle money on a left sided centre half. As I said previously, I really think the injury to JOC will see us relegated. We don't look the same in defence or attack without him.
We tried, Kongolo.
Don't know the veracity of reports that he failed a medical with us and with Fulham before Fulham bought him anyway, but he is currently injured so wouldn't have been available for a while anyway.
Freeman wasn't sufficient at this level, so we needed to get Bogle and Lowe in. Just because we also needed to get a CB in and didn't doesn't mean we shouldn't have brought them in when we had the opportunity.
Any free agents knocking about?
JOC and fleck have not been the same/carrying injuries since lockdown. Whilst Robinson and Osborn have had decent games in that time, they are both bit part players. For me the left hand side should have been strengthened in the window after the obvious shortcomings in goal and up front.Wilder has said that Jack wasn't right from the restart of lock down. On that basis it was criminal we didn't sign another left sided centre back (Surely we knew Kongolo was injured seeing as he hasn't played for a while, and surely we didn't just have a list consisting of 1 target). Wilder also said we can't rely Robinson there all season, so I'm perplexed why it wasn't one of the first positions on the list. I disagree with you about Bogle, you sort the first team out before you sort the squad members out. If the first team isn't strong enough, the reserves aren't going to make much difference and you will struggle. That's no disrespect to Bogle by the way, he might end up being a good player, but our entire system relys on the right and left centre backs getting forward. If they don't, we are toothless and predictable.
Totally agree, our supporters are looking like as big a problem as the team. We need them in the ground being positive, but similarly can offer unwaivering love to players online. As are the supporters.
Time will tellTotally agree, our supporters are looking like as big a problem as the team. We need them in the ground being positive, but similarly can offer unwaivering love to players online.
The reason for kissing our players arses, is the same reason you tell opposition players that they're shit... Psychology.
We're supposed to offer our players blind support.
Players get criticism from our management team.. coming from the fans it can only knock their confidence.
Also, people saying we're definitely getting relegated after a tiny portion of the season are ridiculous doom merchants.
Nurse!Nurse!
How many players are you suggesting and how much would you like him to spend?
Thought today we looked very average but at the moment we’re far better than a relegation team.
Also to be honest it’s 3 games.....the table doesn’t start revealing the good and weak teams until the 10 game played point.
Still think this?We won't be going down. We'll finish upper mid table. I'm staking my reputation on this.
My reputation disappeared far, far away into Row Z along with Lys Mousset's attempt on goal from all of 1 yard out at the Hawthorns. That was the night I finally realised how fucked we are.Still think this?
Good of you to admit your mistake mate, we've all made them!My reputation disappeared far, far away into Row Z along with Lys Mousset's attempt on goal from all of 1 yard out at the Hawthorns. That was the night I finally realised how fucked we are.
