mc goldrick still offers guile
agree we should put the other 2 out to stud

but we need cover for oconnell so jags stays until we get one
Ampidou was superb today

The more I think about it the more I start to wonder having heard Chris mention that piss take regarding Egan's red card. We essentially have to over perform every single match not just because of who we are playing but because we seem to be up against the match officials as well.

We were bottom of the VAR decision table last season which goes to show what else we are up against just to avoid relegation. Not saying we are being singled out but while the officials are so poor and even worse on VAR, then we are playing with one arm tied behind our backs.

We deserve all we get same old tired formation refuses to change the system no investment in key areas that we needed to strengthen the powers that be are to blame for this shit show and when we get relegated it will be down to them for it.

What did anyone expect really when there's was no investment in key areas we have lost 6 premier league games on the bounce and not scored in our last 3 it is pathetic.

Another thing is now if Abdullah does not want to invest he needs to sell up to someone that will because it is criminal what has happened this summer.

Goodbye Pig

Not after 3 games it doesn't. Hate to be on the front line with some of you lot. First shot's fired you'd be running like fuck in the opposite direction. Deary me.

Not at all ... I will support them 100% all the way.

I’d hate to be in business with you ... when the blatantly obvious is ignored.

two stats that matter most ... goals for and goals against.

As soon as I read Jack O'Connell maybe out for the season I knew we were fucked. A more defensive style of play, absolutely no goals from the midfield or forwards can only mean one thing. Without 2 or 3 new players then I don't see how we can get the points required. Prince it's up to you now, back Wilder or expect relegation and losing him.
Fuck off

We've played 3 bleedin games mate. I wouldn't want anyone as negative as you anywhere near my business. Stats or no stats,it all begins with attitude. Wilder and co have it in spades.

Best to stay off the forum a bit. Maybe till late November looking at the fixtures.

We've been in every game so far and were sucker punched within 10 minutes of the first 2.

We're a striker away from it clicking.

That much is obvious if we had invest in 2 quality strikers we would have had at least 6 points now and be relatively comfortable but if you do not invest and stand still then you make a rod for your own back.

I’m not even that convinced by Berge, he should be offering a lot more considering the money he cost.

Sander looks a class above the rest of the midfield it has took a while to find his feet but he is starting to show the reasons why we paid that money if only we have the quality around him.

This is shaping up to be a long season already. I fully expect us to be bottom at the end of October with at best 3 points. One way or another things have gone against us in all three games so far, which hasn't helped. As has not getting in a striker and no fans in the ground as well.

Problem is once you get in a bottom of the table rut, especially at Prem level and with our resources it's going to be very difficult to turn it around.

I'm fearing a 75/76 type season. I just hope the powers that be and the fans keep backing CW, and on the flip side CW doesn't walk away. He's going to be our best hope next season for taking us back up from the Championship.

Not sure what the majority of people expected this season, however, a lack of goals last season was always going to be the biggest worry going into this season.

I think most people didn't expect us to concede so few goals this season, therefore, without scoring more then fewer points is always going to be likely.

Genuinely don't think the team has gone from top 10 to relegation certainties in a few weeks so think we all need to get a grip.

The reality is we overachieved last season (almost all Blades would have taken 17th before a ball was kicked), and unfortunately Wilder has raised the expectation bar higher as a result.

Not saying we should accept some of the mistakes (not, on the face of it, addressing the lack of goals) but we also perhaps need to reset our expectations.

If anybody seriously thinks Wilder has taken us as far as he can then be interested to know who would be a realistic upgrade.

I agree mate... positive mindset is how you should approach every situation in life... even the most difficult and one a that actually matter (outside of football)

We have to be realists though... these lads will always give their all and today the. Performance was there.

But (and it’s a big but) they stats don’t lie we don’t score enough and now we concede too. Wilder is starting to sound frustrated and the board seemingly don’t want to spend anymore cash. I’m addition we now have lost our 1st choice centre back and our rock in the middle is to miss another two games.

Anyone can smell relegation in the air - the harsh reality is we could be cut adrift 10 games in - not negative just realist.

Game one, concede 2 in 6 mins, rest of the game was 50/50

Game two, Egan sent off after 12mins, miss penalty (and their player should have been sent off)

Game three, Ampadu not given a pen for a more obvious foul than the one that got Egan sent off v Villa.

Get a grip.
Agree with all this but are we expecting these things to even out over the season? Wasnt that supposed to happen with VAR decisions last season?

I doubt we'll be getting any 90+10 pens.

How many players are you suggesting and how much would you like him to spend?
Thought today we looked very average but at the moment we’re far better than a relegation team.
Also to be honest it’s 3 games.....the table doesn’t start revealing the good and weak teams until the 10 game played point.

I have it on good authority we are skint and unless we borrow monies gone.

Egan's red card was only a one game ban he served the ban against leeds. He is back for Arsenal

I would have liked 2 before today, a creative midfielder and obviously a striker. I think we will need a replacement for O'Connell now as well though as I wouldn't be confident in Robinson playing there all season (nothing against the lad, but he's just a cover player for me, not a first team regular). As for how much to spend, that obviously depends on the players Wilder wants, but good players don't come cheap.
Also while I fully understand it's only 3 games, it's 3 games in which you'd have said points could be attainable. To get 0 from those 3 games is very worrying (especially with the run of games we've got coming up). If we get cut adrift in the Premier League, we won't claw it back. All in my opinion obviously.

24 chances created in 3 games (same ratio as Man Utd - 16 in 2 games)
Lundstram scores his penalty last week and puts away the chance in the first half today, would be a very different story
Frustrating, but lots of positives to be taken away today - we looked defensively decent missing JOC/Egan and Ramsdale had a great game
Wake up and smell the coffee!- you dont win games on "ifs and buts". That bloke last night for Brighton hit the woodwork at least 5 times and they lost. No excuse -to score goals get them on target !

If it’s the same strike force then yeah I’d say because they all work hard but sadly no goal threat but I’m gonna judge it after October 6th like previous posts say October will be very tin hat time but need to stick together

I have it on good authority we are skint and unless we borrow monies gone.

If that is true then you have to question the use of the budget when we knew more firepower was key and Wilder clearly stated that.

No disrespect but I'll wait and see what happens between now and mid October.
