This proven Championship striker with pace

Name me a premiership side who'll want an unproven striker (in England, at all) on loan?

We've got 6 and a half mil in sell on fees alone this window. Strikers cost money.
I didn't mention cash at all. Where've you pulled that fee from? Your arse?

I think for Dicko you're looking around £3mil. That's an average fee for a championship striker nowadays.

Just scrolling down twitter, Wolves fans are very 'meh' about Dicko. Certainly not as made up on him as you make out. And with some of the strikers they're linked with who can blame them.

You need to have a chat with yourself if you think Dicko is worth 3m

Fraizer Campbell's just gone to Hull on a free.

Nouha Dicko might be available from Wolves.

Nick Blackman's a very good player when he's on his game.

There will be plenty of young PL players who'd be good loan options. Ashley Fletcher might be one.

There aren't too many about, but it's certainly easier when you remove the 'proven' requirement.
Campbell would've been my choice but I assume Hill are paying him a lot.

Dicko would be my number one choice, Blackman wouldn't be a bad option.

I wonder if Johnny Russell is available from Derby? Depends if he wants to carry on playing left wing rather than upfront for us. Gary Rowett seems to not mind selling players at the minute as part of a squad rebuild.

I'd also think about Bogle at Wigan. 3 goals since January doesn't seem too impressive but he did after all join the worst scoring side in the division. Chances understandably at a premium. He'd do well here I think Wilder could get the very best out of him.

What he's 'worth' is irrelevant. Who knows what anyone is worth nowadays?

If we went to Wolves chairman and said here's 3 million for Nouha Dicko, go and put it towards Afobe/Aboubakar, they'd certainly consider it. Would they accept it? I don't know, nor does anyone but it's certainly a fair offer.

Just stop writing rubbish mate. We're in the championship now a half decent season people demand £5+million. Look at the money Barnsley have been getting.

You have quite a few names who are realistic on this thread.

Sorry I missed them, who? I hoped they've been listed by other people than yourself.

But if you can name them would be good.

700k for Winnall
2mil for Hourihane
3 for Roberts

What's the big deal about that? They sold a good championship striker for 700k. One who scored double Dicko did last year.

I think you're overrating Nouha Dicko somewhat.

Blackman for one.

Or is he unrealistic too?

Come on then, someone tell us what Dicko is worth rather than just dismissing what someone else says....

As for 'realistic'..... often it's surprising who is. You can't always say for sure.

whats Campbell ever won , when did he last get 30 plus

Genuine question - in the last 5 years how many strikers have actually scored 30+ in a season?

Actually, here's the list of all those scoring 30 plus in a season since 2011/12 across all 4 divisions:

PL:
Suarez - 13/14

Championship:
Glenn Murray - 12/13

League One:
Sharp - 16/17
Jordan Rhodes - 11/12

League Two:
Tom Pope - 12/13

A sum total of 5 players.

Blackman last season. 29 games 1 goals for a decent derby side.

He went to Derby for £2.5million according to Soccerbase. So I guess they would want to recoup that money.

He turned down big spending pigs, so his wages would be high.

But if we managed to pay a fortune in wages and in Fees. He's no better than Lavery. Last time lavery was there he scored 6 in 34. Would be a big waste of money.

Anyone else?

Ok, if you want to pay 3m for him you need to have a similar chat!

Played a lot out wide or as a sub. It hasn't worked for him at Derby but he did very well at Reading.

We've seen them both first hand. He's better than Lavery as it stands.

And do you really think they'd get 2.5 mil from anyone for Blackman? I'm the one who's meant to be in cloud cuckoo land when it comes to transfer fees. Deary me. They'd be lucky to get 7 figures.

How much would you pay for recent ACL injury and 3 goals in 29 apps last season Nouha Dicko?

You're the one who needs a chat with yourself fella.

Hang in but paying 3m for a player who in 2015 was out for 9 months with knee ligaments then not regularly playing after is worth spending 3m on?

I said that's what we could get him for.

On his past record he's worth every penny if we get him going again.

Anyway for what it's worth I would try and gets someone like vydra or Weissman on loan, but do prefer an upgrade on Done jen terms of a left sided striker who could make more space for his partner. But someone with some goals in him

Sorry Bladezz. I see you liked this post hoping to be vindicated in your valuation of Dicko.

Unfortunately for yourself it seems Sheffielder doesn't think Dicko is worth anywhere near what I quoted and he was saying I should have a chat with myself cos it was on the high side. Apparently.

Show me where I have said anything else but he's not worth 3m

You dismiss Dicko's stats for strikers with similar stats?

Please explain how what I said meant I am in for this signing at any level
When have I suggested you're for the signing? Do you know where you're going with this?

You just randomly popped up and said he wasn't worth 3 million.

Thanks for your input.

Yes I wouldn't be willing to pay for him, no. What you talking more about lewis?
Right. Ok.

My argument with Bladezz was that he thought Dicko would cost much more. I thought £3mil might actually be too much but I said they'd consider it. And I fully think they would consider less as it would get them wages and fees in for more Porto and Benfica players.

This is a striker with a impeccable record pre ACL injury. We see with Assombalonga that they don't need to be career ruiners. We get Dicko back on form and we have a striker worth a lot more than what we paid - I think he's worth the risk for anything up to £3,000,000 - personally.
