This is how it feels to see your team drop a crucial 2 points in the last minute

Almost without exception, I've seen players of former clubs mute their goal celebrations out of respect for their former employers/supporters.
When a 'fan' of Sheffield United can celebrate like this after seeing the team they support lose 2 crucial points in such a cruel way, I lose what little respect I have for them.
I think someone showed their true colours tonight......and they weren't red and white. More a deep shade of 'Neil Warnock'

Warnock has done his usual shit of stealing the headlines.

Just for a bit of balance, so don't hang me.

It's easy for us to say we wouldn't act like he has but he took alot of blame and anger off us, he felt betrayed by the owner and probably the fans, even his family was harassed immediately following the game by someone high up in the club.

He probably isn't a true fan anymore, but I'm sure he feels he has his reasons.

Sorry but in our promotion season he was looking to go to Portsmouth all to force a new contract, it was the same just before xmas with his present employers. If he concentrated more on the job in hand than himself people would have a bit more respect for him. He's a twat never been a blade last nights antics just prove it he is his own biggest fan nothing else.

He knows they got very lucky, as did Bristol, villa, et al, not forgetting those massive 2 points boro stole of us. The table could have looked so much different this morning, but,it doesn’t and we move on, we are a good team, and football wise piss all over warnocks hoof team despite the positions of both teams in the table.

Geeing up their supporters after the final whistle like that was uncalled for. All he had to do was applaud them.

Assuming he had a drink with the SUFC staff afterwards I just hope somebody impolitely pointed that out to him.

I can't believe how prissy some people get. He was a Blade, but now he is employed by someone else and so his priorities have to change. It's exactly the same when we take ex Wendy players.
Get over it lads, you can't get upset about a bloke celebrating a goal.

Assume you said the same about Wilder at Oxford last season?
I see you point, but Wilder wasn't an Oxford fan, which I think what the opening posts subject is about (Warnock being a Blade).

Personally, I don't see what the problem was/is with Warnock celebrating however he wanted. Look at Wilder v Coventry - probably not the most professional but no one cared, it was awesome.

What makes Warnock a twat is the way he was constantly in the ear of the 4th official - moaning like hell when his players git rightfully pulled up for kicking ours in the air. Of course he should celebrate stealing a point they barely deserved. Must have felt as much like a victory to them as it did a defeat to us.

I don't begrudge him his celebrations. I do begrudge him his hoof laden side stealing a point from the football team who totally outplayed and outwitted his expensively amassed team (don't let his tales of doing it on a shoestring fool you). Big nosed twat.

Some right muppet posts on here.

He has celebrated a last gasp goal, one that they didn't deserve in the grand scheme of things, it's a goal that maintained a 10 match unbeaten run and keeps them with a chance (a slim one) of the title and a point that keeps them 8 pts above third place.

I'd be disappointed if he didn't celebrate.

And here are his comments:

"When you equalise late on in a game like that, it's a fantastic feeling. It sets us up great for the small matter of Wolves on Friday.

"It's all about hanging in there and we showed a lot of guts and determination for that.

"Give our lads some credit for never giving in.

"I thought the subs did well when they came on."

Again, can't argue with any of that

I didn't think Warnock looked very healthy last night. Looked ill to me.

Chris Wilder, the self proclaimed Oxford fan?

As you know he had a decent and productive spell there and there was a lot of bollocks from their fans slagging him off for what they perceived to be OTT celebrations. See any similarities?

Warnock is about Warnock. It's all about him and always has been.

He was more concerned about himself and his contract during both the promotion to the Prem, and the subsequent relegation from it, especially at the business end.

I'm not Sean Bean's biggest fan and don't condone his behaviour if true, but there's a reason he went off at him like he did.

Wilder will I'm sure look after himself, but I'll bet everything I've got that you'll never see those games from him. The well being of the club will come first.

I admire what Warnock has achieved in the game, and still achieving at nearly 70, but nobody will convince me that he's not a self centred cunt.

Kevin Blackwell could be working in the Prem next season too. Let that sink in.

I think that's more the work he's had done. Notice the same hairline he's had for many years but is now further up his head in an unnatural way.

Yep, we all notice these things because he's like one of the family, in his case the annoying loud-mouthed uncle who always has to be loudest and centre of attention at family do's:eek:. Talks to the whole gathering and usually about himself:rolleyes:.

Don't worry about it.

Some snowflakes on here are just far too precious for their own good.

Name me one poster on here that isn't also a "self centred twat"

Generally speaking we all put ourselves first.

It's called human nature.

A completely different scenario Danny as you should well know.

Wilder has never claimed to be an Oxford supporter or claimed to 'love' them as Warnock has with us. In fact Oxford supporters largely wanted Wilder gone and gave him pelters for many months.

I didn't expect Warnock to not celebrate but what he did at the end took the piss.
Unless I am just being over sensitive.
