I genuinely think VAR might help us with this. If it’s offside / a foul etc then no more automatically favouring the big team a la Luton Shelton. If VAR were around it would have been a red card and a penalty. Bring it on I say.

I agree it SHOULD help but I can't help but wonder if VAR might not continue to be used to show the intent of the 'Sheffield player' to foul some show pony Liverpool wanker .
