Absolute cracking thread- some right dross- and it's a sad state of affairs when most of us would have most of those free transfer strikers over McBurnie.

That Lupoli Italian bloke, from the days of the Macron kit. Was it Artolio Lupoli? Summat that way, anyway...

Lupoli scored against the pigs on his debut, think he’d only been on the pitch for five minutes. I think he only scored one more, which was against Plymouth if my memory is correct.

Can't even remember if Conor Sammon ever scored for us can remember that dreadful miss
I know it’s hard to believe he actually scored twice in one game for United against Peterborough.
Che Adams, Billy James Wallace and Jose Baxter played as well.

Scored in the 2-1 win at home to Charlton in April 1979. After the match, both us and Charlton were on the same points. We had 3 games left including home to Blackburn who were bottom and already relegated, Charlton had only one left but we had fucked it up!
