Yep, I have afflicted a soon to be 9 year old with this affliction, and as I explained to her on the way home tonight, get used to being a Blade cos there always seem to be more lows than highs, BUT its this fact that makes the highs so good. My first full season of watching was back in Div 4 which was great, then we managed to get back up to Div 2, but then we had a few seasons of crap followed by the relegation, followed by two seasons that will live with me forever, fantastic performances, steam rollering teams, Deane and Agana in full flight. The away day at Leicester will be one of my finest memories, an away ground full of bright yellow shirts that performed when they needed to. The pride at Old Trafford in the semi against the Arse, when the fans were fantastic and didn't shut up for the final 20 minutes.

Hopefully one day mine and yours and will experience the highs of being a Blade, in the meantime they should be happy to be part of the chosen few!

Our grandson Jack cried when we were relegated from the premier league, cried at Wembley, but is now a man, at the grand old age of ten. Didn't cry today! Good lad.

Get him to have a word with his Uncle Horace please Norks.

What about ? The Seattle Seahawks or whatever the feck they're called. Calls himself a True Blade, my eye. Ruddy traitor. :)

i was sat in the westfield and some youth worker type is sat next to me struggling to control about 20 unruly kids :D who'd received free tickets to the game. i asked him what the craic was and he replied it was some incentive to get kids involved with the club.. to which some wag behind replied .. 'isn't that tantamount to child abuse?' :D

Good to see I'm not the only cruel dad subjecting the baby to the harsh treatment of a blades life, at least we are not bloody tyrants and make them wear the colours of the pig.

Little Elliott watched us get stuffed by QPR at there ground on tv, he fell asleep shortly after there 3rd.
