I wasn't going to watch any of it. So, obviously, I very much have. Heavily time invested, three magazines, daily news reports and a wall chart out of the 'When Saturday comes' WC issue.

France 2 - 0 Senegal is my shout tonight.

England v Croatia score draw.

I'm not against a drinks break per se. Considering how we've seen incidents like Christian Eriksen at the Euros a few years back, taking precautions for player safety is A-OK with me. But as I've seen posted in here already, it becoming an opportunity to give out more instructions by coaches feels a bit snidy.

I'd rather the players be made to take drinks in a neutral location - behind a goal perhaps, or the opposite side of the pitch from the dugouts.

Haven't managed to catch a full match so far, but I've found a lot of what I have watched to be perfectly fine. Nothing has really stood out as being spectacular, but nothing has been awful either.

Gonna watch at least some of the France-Senegal game here shortly and see how that shakes out.

They should take it at a little plastic table with children size plastic chairs so we get to see them in their true habitat. The little dears.

Americanising an English game … splitting
The game in to 1/4 with an advertising break in each quarter … pretending it’s player welfare
