Can we just call it that? Because that's what it is, none of this "League One" nonsense - I mean it isn't even number one in the League it is a division of.

In the words of the Sex Pistols "don't believe illusions, 'cos too much is real..."

As Grozz the physics teacher at High Storrs said (and lapsed Blades watcher since they got rid of the cricket "it's the curse of Lord Hawke!") in response to "we're top of the league sir", "no you're not, you're top of a division in the league..."

Grozz, Mr Hayes, what a legend. I'm guessing he isn't still teaching as he must be getting on a bit.

I agree entirely on the original point. It would stop the silly statements like 'back in League One for the first time in 22 years.'

I suppose you could argue that since the braekaway of the PL, calling the Football League Divisions, the First, Second and Third Divisions made some sort of sense as they were the relevant divisions of that League. "League One" however has absolutely no basis in reality or logic.

Ive always called it Division Three but Barclays or Canon League?

Can someone set up a poll?

I assume we all know about the (probably false) urban legend that the scar on his neck was as result of a pupil putting a drawing pin in his sandwich, which then had to be removed via surgery???
