If the shirt has numbers and a name, solid backs look great. If you're not going to shell out for the afore mentioned Letraset, then a striped back looks better IMO.

Why do we all do this every year 😅

The shirts look completely different with the league badges, player names etc on them. Especially when it’s a white kit, which otherwise looks blank.

I will reserve judgement until I actually see them play in it.

This poll was the hardest to decide.
You see i like the solid back, but when I am wearing it on Skegness sea front it reduces the amount of pigs it winds up, because it just looks like a normal Red or a White T-shirt from the Back.
So I have gone for the bit of both option.

My preference is solid/stripe mix. Solid making the number easy to see, don’t much mind red or white but prefer red , and stripes at the bottom so in the colder months when you are wearing a jacket you can have your shirt tails out and theirs no mistaking you’re a Blade.

Why we can't just recreate the back of the 92-92 shirt? Striped back with a red block for the number to reside in? Very classic European style

Crap shirt. We play in stripes. Not half stripes. Half white. Can you imagine Liverpool turning out in anything other than red shirts (back & front)? No. ‘Cos they don’t fxxx around with tradition!

Also irritates me when we play in an away kit when there is no colour clash. We should always play in those red and white stripes, front and back if at all possible.

As we SHOULD be playing in stripes, I'll go for stripes. I do really get a tad annoyed at a solid back shirt I do admit! But I get equally annoyed at solid sleeves etc.! :)

I must admit that now I’ve taken this first step on kit polls, the sleeves debate, collar debate, and exact Pantone of red debate, are all falling into the realm of future kit polls.

For what it's worth I reckon this is the colour of the away kit. It's called Signal Coral.

The alternative is fully Barbie pink, which is called Glory Pink - I just can't see us going for that.

The above is a sort of fluorescent peach colour, though subtlety when it comes to colour isn't something Unitedites are renowned for, it'll just be "That fuckin pink kit" to most, like the Teletext holidays was blue when it wasn't.

Anyway, we'll almost certainly have a third kit - we're Premier League.
It’s not that colour mate. It’s pink. Just normal pink.

I actually like the colour of the light pink kit if it ends up being that one in the leaked photos. I'm not overly arsed about fans of a team that starts next season on -12 points laughing about it.

One was a relegation shirt.

We lifted the DIY shield wearing the 06/07 kit vs Palace. So strictly speaking we were promoted in that. It also wasn’t a kit we were relegated in – we were relegated in the kit used in 07/08 after debuting it vs Wigan. That had a back of stripes up to the shoulders.

Nice try.
