Now The Derby is back how's about dusting off this trophy that was played for briefly as a pre-season thing in the 90s?

Nice idea in principle but their very presence in the city aggravates me and this would be validating their existence. The only positive about them is that if they weren't around to act as a kind of sewage filter some of their fan base may have found their way to the Lane.

I don't even see them as a proper football club really.

Just watched the Derby v Forest game where the "Brian Clough trophy" is presented. I can't see a problem with it myself.
