It wasn't Robson's links, Robson was used as the Ex England manager as a marketing tool if that's what you want to call it.

Thinking about it as it brought absolutely nothing to Scarboroughs income or profits it just another disastrous decision by NcCabe.

Hi, dont wanna be one of them people who create a thread on their first post, but Iv got a lot to get off my chest. So firstly, hello to everyone. I enjoy to chew the fat with you all and pick the bones out of the mess we currently find ourselves in.

Mess. We are in one big mess, Kevin Mccabe has been wanting out of this club for 10 years, he has took a backseat and tried to push every man and his dog into the position of clubs spokesperson. So he can get out, his heart went along time ago. There is just no one alive who would be able to meet the valuation he sets. He was charmed by 'a prince' coming into town with probable entourage, maybe googled him and seen his family worth, and due to a mix of desperation to get out of the position and an actual belief of 'game changing investment' agreed to give away his share for a quid. As quick as the investment came in, the prince went out. I can't remember any amount of time that the Prince was actually present at our club, he was always away on some kind of business, homeland duty and now, I can't remember the last time he attended a game, Hull in the FA cup? How can anyone expect him to put any money into something that he hasn't had no involvement with for 18 month plus. In his absence though, he did send his right hand man.

His right hand man, Mr Phipps. Were do I start with Mr Phipps. Im not sure what his job description is but its something along the lines of 'being a scapegoat for the fans to target when shit hits the fan so I can get away with murder' part of me feels for this bloke because he's in a lose lose position, but part of me wants to look at his wageslip and compare it to mine and I will probably feel a little less lenient with him. My main gripe with the bloke is I cannot stand a bloke who has been involved with the sport for 3 years lecturing fans of 50 plus years how the game works. I hate how Americanised his interviews sound, he is so out of touch with the game its untrue, he's out of his depth.

Now onto the gaffer, no one was as optimistic about NA than me, he was the biggest coup in my lifetime for this club, I still rate the guy but alarm bells are ringing. First one is the lack of instinct to know that Hammond and Basham will never ever work in CM. Both do the same job, no one has any gusto going forward. Second thought in my mind, Matty Done would have looked at todays fixture and thought 'I'm having some of that' coming off scoring 2 goals in 45 minutes against them a few weeks ago, its obvious he needed to start today, instead he went with Sammon. Third and most important to me, is his lack of balls to tell the powers that be that this squad needed investment, he wasn't bullish enough with the board and it will be his downfall. Cos when push comes to the shove, this set of wankers in the boardroom will stab him in the back as soon as the season tickets don't hit the required targets in a few weeks.

Lastly onto the players. In my line of work I have it drummed into me that people struggle through 2 reasons, 1 is capability and 1 is heart and passion. The first lot is the capability lot, I feel these few have the heart for the club but not the ability, George Long, Collins, Mcev, Woolford. Id rather have these lot than the next lot, just cause they actually care, you can tell that. The next lot are the people who have the ability, never in doubt these lot are capable of great things but would rather spend time in nightclubs or are looking for other clubs/options. So we have Jose Baxter, Jose should be playing in the premiership, if he had a brain he would in he would be a superstar. But he hasn't so he spends his time in nightclubs, kicking pint pots at girls, taking class A drugs. He's been given 4-5 chances now, and doesn't seem interested in repaying the favour. Seriously pay him up. or just pay him to sit at home, the guy has nothing to offer this club. Rather give that position to Scougall, Flynn etc, Just not him. My next pick out of the lack of heart list is Hammond. If I had a quid for everytime he missed a tackle through lazyness I would be a millionaire, send him back.

We are on our knees, We need a CB to replace Harry Maguire. We need a CM to partner Basham, We need winger to replace Murphy and we need someone to back up Sharp. We need a chairman that cares and someone in the club with knowledge about football.

We are in this league for a long time.
As quick as the investment came in, the prince went out.
.......the Saudi, formerly known as the Prince:confused:
