All he needs is time 😂😂😂. 🤦♂️
Only 37?I think because of all the heart ache, we'll enjoy the promotion all the more when we eventually get it...
At 37 I'm starting to wonder whether we'll see another promotion in my lifetime![]()

Okay so in 22 years following the Blades i've witnessed the following:
4 play off final defeats at 3 different venues without even scoring beyond the horrible Huddersfield penalty shootout
3 play off semi final defeats
2 last day relegations from the Prem when we only needed a draw to stay up
relegation from the Championship
4 agonising FA Cup semi final defeats.
2 agonising League Cup semi final defeats
What we've won:
A promotion to the Premier League. Although we were second and got promoted without playing.
Are we cursed as a club? Not many clubs outside the top few have got to as many finals and semi finals as we have in the last 25 years but we haven't won anything. We've got to go up next season.
The curse started in 1973 when United kicked out Yorkshire CCC and kicked into gear once the South Stand opened. Compare United's record pre and post 1975 and tell me I'm not wrong!
the losers mantra.. personally i d rather f*ck the prom queen.. just once would be niceBetter to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.....similar sentiments WH, and wise words transferred to the team we all support.
With the resources we've got, we'll piss the league next season......
Double Lolz
We need to replace Davis, two centre halves, a Doyle esque midfielder and Brayford... Plus if the baxter thing ends up true we need a creative central midfielder...
I hope Clough does his business very early this time and gets players who are fit.
Only if we sack Clough![]()
Yes but what a good year that was in the old fourthWait til you get to 45 years, you might be able to throw in a relegation to the 4th tier and a defeat on penalties in a tin pot competition I can't even remember the name of (Watney Mann Cup?)

Beat you I am 58I'm 55, remembers seeing us win the fourth division in 1982, we showed them that year.
Teams staying up in the prem with 38 points, not enough for us tho.
But would you rather be 15th in the Premier League achieving nothing every single season?
Don't forget that first play-off semi defeat to Bristol CityWait til you get to 45 years, you might be able to throw in a relegation to the 4th tier and a defeat on penalties in a tin pot competition I can't even remember the name of (Watney Mann Cup?)

If you're suggesting that the only way to lift the curse is to bring cricket back to the Lane, I think I'd prefer to stick with the curse.
nothing to do with misery.. theyare the factsHonestly, with such a negative attitude to your 22 years, you will always be miserable, so why bother?
Yes the two highest scorers of each division that didnt get promotion (div 2, 3 and 4) or didnt win the League, FA Cup or League CupThe Watney Cup was played between the highest scoring teams in the League. This game finished 0-0
We were Division 1 Bristol Rovers were Division 3.
