What we've won:
A promotion to the Premier League. Although we were second and got promoted without playing.

Are we cursed as a club? Not many clubs outside the top few have got to as many finals and semi finals as we have in the last 25 years but we haven't won anything. We've got to go up next season.

The curse started in 1973 when United kicked out Yorkshire CCC and kicked into gear once the South Stand opened. Compare United's record pre and post 1975 and tell me I'm not wrong!

Okay this is what I don't get - how can you write off an entire cup run where we got to the semi-final at Wembley, taking some big name clubs' scalps along the way, as a third division club? Is it only ever a failure unless we win the FA cup? I consider it a success, actually a massive success, with some great moments along the way. That's the point of supporting a football club. If the only thing that matters is promotion or a cup, you have to support one of the big 4. Same for the league, is it really so abysmal to have a season without promotion? I admit to being pissed off at still being in this division, but a good season at the top of the Championship doesn't have to be a failure.
Honestly, with such a negative attitude to your 22 years, you will always be miserable, so why bother?

The semi finals are some what of a success, especially considering for 5 of them we were in the 2nd and 3rd tier, they were something to be proud of. Much better than the pigs in terms of cups runs over the past 22 years.

The play offs feel like the curse for me! Just ridiculous to be in them that many times and lost every time.

Also, the relegations were heartbreaking, but all three we had ourselves to blame and the two from the premier league all we needed was a draw both times, which were achievable results given the opposition in those games....and Wigan had 10 men!

But as many have said, at least it's not boring following us. We've had a lot of big games over the past 25 years.

nothing to do with misery.. theyare the facts
why bother? because some of us think that if we got our act together we could be up there like we used to be
cups..don't care. it is not a priority atm.. if we get to the final stages we'll run into the big boys withe the full team out and lose anyway

Let me have a think on this one, United supping at the top table most seasons, odd cup final appearance, Yorkshire back at the Lane, ODIs, test matches. No brainer, knock the bloody thing down, it's brought nowt but bad luck!
