Not an original idea, I know, but it just might work:

Draw a line on what has happened this season and start with a fresh mentality.

Ten games to go. Blackie to give the team a shake-up and try something new. Bring in one or two youngsters from the Academy/Reserves. Use players in their best positions and not as square pegs in round holes. Try playing attractive, attacking football. Win or lose, it can't be much worse than what we've suffered for the past few weeks.

The fans for their part to give the team their full support until the end of the season and stop whinging. Try to create a carnival atmosphere.

This would only work if the management comes clean, acknowledges past failings, and tells us that this is what they are doing.

It would never happen, of course...

Great idea, I'll go with that.

Does it end here as well? Because if it does we can all breathe a sigh of relief and forget about football for a while.

Good idea in principle, but the reality is something different.

Too many Blades see the current situation inextricably linked with Blackwell and his continued presence is the one change they want to see. If the club did everything that you say and said we've been total bobbins this season, the response would be, 'sack him then!'

I'm confused BB, I thought "Mcwobble gob" (or whatever you call Mr McCabe) was the problem and not Mr Blackwell! :D

no need to be confused ................

Mr McCabe is the ultimate problem he employed cheap as chips who is a problem he's fookin useless.

Hope this helps

I hope you are right Broomhill but one things for sure ,if we lose today and at Cardiff the season is certainly over.
