Were they three people off the street who had won a competition to officiate at a Football league game? At times they appeared not to know the rules of football.

One of the most inept displays of officiating I have ever seen, not just bad for one side, completely useless all round.

At one point the ref must have thought he was playing for us, the Carlisle player booted the ball into him. It went out for a throw, which he then tried to give to Carlisle!! Then he remembered that he wasn't one of our players and gave it back to us!
