It's a good fit all round. Having a level-headed manager, one who speaks transparently and directly suits us. We've had a few who imagine that speaking in riddles helps everyone, then we've had managers who seem to love the sound of their own voice, but Hecky has the knack of plain speaking and never avoids a question.

Of course there's no way of knowing what PH will be like should we once more become a Prem club, but all the indications suggest that we'll see few changes in his character and his approach to dealing with the media.

I think that taking the knee would have stopped 18 months ago, had it not created such frothy mouthed apoplexy in a gobby minority - so congrats lads for keeping it going!
