Without a doubt the Prince does has done his best on wealth he has. Compare the positives of the Prince with Chansiri and its like chalk and cheese.

Prince - doesn't sell players cheaply, doesn't allows players to run down contracts, allows the manager to be in charge of recruitment, keeps ticket prices reasonable.

Compared to the rich Chansiri :-

Supporters asked to leave stadium if not wearing official shirt (At a very expensive £77!)

Price increases:

Last season: £27-36
This season: £39-48

A 33% - 44% increase.

For example:-

£46 on the Kop v Leeds.

£51 North

£55 South

And never forget the weird midnight drunken rants, the plastering of the name all over the stadium, the thank you Chansiri flag, the homage to the King of Thailand they were forced to endure, the multiple attempts at Club 1867 to bring in money up front, the multiple buy a season ticket for 5 years offers, the golden elephants, the fan’s forums where he slags of the fans for not paying enough, the dodgy desso, the company’s created purely to get round income rules, the sale of their stadium to him or company controlled by his wife, the points deductions (whoops don’t go there) the multiple managers from all over the place, the changing of the club badge and don’t forget the tarpaulin.

Never forget that tarpaulin.

I could almost keep the Prince after that.

All of course in my honest opinion based on what I read on Pork Talk.

It's like comparing standing on a plug barefoot to standing on Lego barefoot
Not really
3 seasons out of 5 in the top division Compared to none is a much much much bigger difference
It would have to be something like comparing standing on a plug barefoot to. Standing on a grape barefoot

Anyone would rather stand on lego than a plug anyway. Lego hurts but a plug could fuck your plantar up

If I can get a customised shirt delivered to my door for £15 from China, I'll keep doing that. I've got 3 boys to sort out who wear their kits everywhere (despite living 200 miles away) but there's no way that I, or the club, can justify the prices they charge!
But I do love that the Wednesday board have found a way to put a dampener on the optimism within the club. Lovely.

I read about the shirt thing- how’s he going to ‘police’ this? Asking people if they can check the stitching and the labels inside? Some form of scanner ?😂
The bloke is an absolute class of his own.

We have had half a billion + of outside money put into the club and were struggling to keep the under soil heating on and getting points deductions and embargos. I think even daft chansiri wouldn't have managed that.

Seriously? Get the point with under soil heating (and don’t forget the grass seed and fertiliser) but he did manage the points deductions and embargoes notwithstanding being so rich that Pork was lobbying for the rules to be changed so that he could spend what he wanted.

Apparently they have the fire brigade watering the pitch today...

Prince is a 5/10 owner... There are much better owners, but there are also much much much worse.

The world is so binary these days. You have to be Team Prince or Prince Out. You can't have any nuance.

I'm so meh about it. Could he do things better? Hell yeah (appoint a DoF now!!} but Jees people really do have to be careful what they wish for when it comes to him selling ....

Apparently close to 30,000 there today according to Porktalk not too shabby if true, especially being on a Sunday and on TV.
So if true you could argue Chancer knows what he is doing.

And got promoted that season and earned 200 million pounds

So you can be positive when on. The right subject

Think we all know what's going on here

I'm sure it'll be around 30k today, but it'll be closer to half of that after 3 or 4 games

Chansiri has definitely been more flowing with losing his cash but the Prince is much more intelligent and crafty.

I'd say both have now peaked but Chansiri will walk away much more hated and much more worse off.

Been going to the Lane since 1968. Can't remember a season where we've been hit by a transfer embargo. Can't remember a season where we've started with minus 2 points. Can't remember a season where we've sold or passed on 18 players. A season where we've sold our best two players a week before season started and then were publically so humiliated that we felt so much shame.
Have the club promoted you from brand ambassador to minister of propaganda, Tony?
