we have a big problem, The Prince is dictating who to sell. Ndiaye now Berge. and if this report is about Berge being told to leave now or you will be sitting in the stand.
if this is true that is really bad. That can only be The Prince must be behind this. This could turn nasty if he owns the ground. if he does not get the £170m he wants he will sell the ground. we are in deep shit if this happens. you can,t trust him. he must be in debt and needs the money. Off course I hope this is wrong. we need Betis to let us know that is so. I feel sorry for Hecky for his sake and Blades fans' sake. this needs to be sorted out asap.

Man who owns business makes decisions shock.

Not much joined up thinking going on here.

Sean Thompson.
So it seems you like the prince So making the team a lot weaker before the season has started is ok by you then, obviously you must trust him then.
With your attitude, you must be a deluded Wendyite.

he used to like McCabe and that changed, bit like Darren on twitter.

Yes, because l’ve pointed out your post is daft - which it is - l’m a pig.

I’ve certainly not agreed with these wait until window ends posts because to start with, players need bedding in ASAP and losing valuable weeks can’t possibly help.

Trust him to do what?

You seem to care a lot until it’s pointed out your claims are inaccurate.
Sorry for not fully researching the sale of Leeds before saying that we, errrr, shouldn’t be asking for as much as Leeds were for their club

Are you still on that cash flow excuse you randomly made up for why we’re so pathetically run as it stands?

I agree Sean Thompson

There are still some of you. Or realists, as you’ve named yourselves in some quarters, The New Age Outlaws or whatever you’ve Christened yourselves on social media. I can’t keep up.

Seeing people pulling Alex Crook for saying we are pathetic and behaving like a championship club, when he is in no way wrong. “You said this last time!!” Yeah he did, they all did, but don’t the only similarities between those two squads, mentalities and promotions overall were they both play in red and white, wear the Sheffield United badge and play 3 at the back. That side humbles this one.

All those who think Ndiaye and Berge are somehow snakes or rats this is aimed at too.
Come to think of it, if you think this applies to you - it does.

I’ll head this by saying I was totally behind the Prince and accepted his way of running the football club until after the January transfer window. The smell of shit got a bit too much to handle and it’s been nothing but downhill since despite a Premier league promotion.

I’ll ask you one question firstly and then follow it up with more after:
If this was happening at Wednesday, would you be pissing yourself and laughing your head off like a fucking chimp at Chansiri calling him a nutter, or are you a liar?

And then a few more:
Do you think this is any way normal to run a football club? We all know the prince is skint, but that’s no excuse. It shows absolutely no future planning and smacks of reactionary behaviour.

Turning over a net transfer profit after promotion to the premier league and having nothing to show for it, barely any assets on the pitch, a crumbling training ground, below standard Academy and some freshly painted stands. Unlike the likes of Norwich who’ve used their PL stints to build a state of the art training ground for example. Is that behaviour that you expect or deem acceptable?

I keep hearing the excuses for the squad being (ALARMINGLY) weaker than the side that won promotion being that the transfer window doesn’t end until the end of the month. In which we play Crystal Palace at home and Forest away. Does that make it acceptable? Give for City, You are in effect throwing 2 winnable games with this squad. We aren’t just accepting relegation we’re accepting an embarrassment.

The Prince has put the price of the club up at a reported £170m - is that a reasonable price? Being that was with a valuation of the squad at £120m. Now unless Anel is worth £100m I think that can be heavily reassessed.

Whose fault is it that we’ve had so many players running down to their last year of their contract? Egan and Baldock could well be next out of the door.

What are your thoughts of him keeping saying he is trying to find the best prospective buyer for the future of the football club but trying to sell us to two conmen which we actually know about?

What are the excuses for us doing all of this?
We should be £100m richer. You can blame cash flow all you want, borrow against the future like everyone else does. That doesn’t wash with me.

Call us negative all you want, we shouldn’t have a reason to be negative. Turns out we have about 100.

This isn’t just a mental way to run a premier club, it’s a mental to way to run a football club and it’s unacceptable. I can’t believe he has any supporters left.

And last but now least:
Do you expect us to beat Derby’s 07/08 record low points total of 11? Because I know I don’t.
You're absolutely right.

About everything.

Actually, thank you.

Now what?

We’ll learn your lesson and less people will mock you.

Cash flow? See above

That's the thing you can't trust the prince, who s he going to sell next? he wants to stay when he has sold the club, nah The Sooner he goes the better.

I agree about him staying on. Very much like McCabe with ALK. Not the best idea.

Oh no am I being ‘mocked’ on a football forum by some condescending bloke who talks in riddles but never actually says anything of substance or value? However will I recover from this.

Cash flow was your excuse, buddy

Why don't you admit you are a Wendyite? because I bet you don't go to Bramall Lane. so you have nowt else to do apart from your silly comments.

Calm down bitch!

But seriously, after reading your posts l am considering modifying my posts and stop using facts and publicly available figures and going down the “my mate says” route. It does seem to convince people of their internet importance.

Certainly something to think about and you don’t have to give examples.

The lack of money to pay the bills IS a cash flow issue. It’s clearly the reality and not an excuse. The reason is that the owner gave some bloke £100m and he wasted most off it. Joint responsibility in my book.

I’m trying to get my head around all this in an objective way so genuinely welcome any views on my understanding of where we are. Which of the following statements of mine is incorrect?

  1. we have sold our two best players (one still to be confirmed but good as gone)
  2. many thought the same two players would go in the JTW last year but we hung on to them and achieved promotion partly on the strength of that decision so we have at least accrued a tangible benefit from having them
  3. There has always been a sense of being on borrowed time with both Ili and Sander, reinforced by the fact that neither would accept an offer and sign a contract
  4. We have made approx £25-30 million on the sale of both of them now rather than next to nothing if we are relegated this season.
  5. Relegation was still a strong possibility whether we kept them or not
  6. IF the 25-30 million is reinvested then we have spread the risk of injury, loss of form of Ili or Sander and strengthened the depth of squad (although not necessarily the overall cumulative quality, depending on who we get)
  7. Our squad has gaping holes in key positions because of the current age profile and without additional funds coming in we can’t address this serious issue

So I can see the logic but I can also understand and share the anger. I think the main anger is that ultimately that neither Ili or Sander actually wanted to stay with us. That really stings and is hard to accept after they received so much support and adulation. It just leaves me with the feeling that it was always a matter of when not if and there’s never a good time to score an own goal.
I wouldn’t argue with any of that. I would add that the timing of events (some of which wasn’t under our control to be fair) has pushed us too far towards the start of the season in terms of getting our preparation done, and is the root of much of the emotional venting that’s going on.

Best username on forum by a mile.

I just don't believe some of the crack pot thinking on here . Would some have been happier if HRH was to put the club up for sale at say £500,000 ?
He would of course get one hell of a lot of offers, especially from plenty who could never afford to run the club properly and of course asset stripers,
Maybe because the price was so low before, was the reason that the two who offered to buy,, would have dropped us in the mire .?
I honestly don't know and I very much doubt any one else on here do's either, but it give some a chance for a rave I suppose...... 👍

I don’t think I’ve ever heard your opinions on actual football, must be reyt boring sat next to you

Oh they are there. Tend to be about what l’ve seen rather than what some imaginary, but trusted obviously, mate , “told me”.

Unlikely to happen but to give you a clue, read your own posts.

Not aged well this one !! 😂😂 Anyway we are all Blades.!!

One player? You're funny.
Since this thread? Yeah it is. Come back when we’ve fulfilled all the positions we need for the season chief. We’re still in net transfer profit which is a joke in itself. One swallow does not a summer make.

Oh, and go steady not to go getting yourself another infraction 👍

HAHAHA, no infractions required, it's plain to see you made a fool of yourself so I can walk away from this thread, knowing I just won the internet 😂😂😂
