The pressure

Dog shit.. absolutely dog shit. Sharp. Anonymous. Didsy.. not sure what everyone sees in him. Selfish player that couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. Fleck. Poor since his call up.. reminds me of a similar part of this season. Duffy. Needs 24 hours on the ball to decide what he's going to do. All blow no huff.. season off. Looking forward to getting fucked up the arse with no lube by a team who actually want promotion.

Hard to argue after today, the fat lady ain’t singing but she’s definitely warming up.

Promotion teams get the first and go on to win comfortably by 2 or 3 against teams like Millwall.

Oh well maybe Wilder is the man to finally win a playoff for us, but I ain’t holding my breathe with our record.

yep. its the end of the road i think. Our lads look leggy and exhausted even half way thru the game. They have given so much and toda has cost us so much !

Bash injured with his knee
Billy looks like he pulled his hamstring
Egan now has a ban

and it seems now Tufty is intent on protecting 1 nil leads rather than killing teams off. A missed pen and you start to think...this is our time... but no United do the United thing don't they ...

only we can self implode in this fashion

its so hard to criticize but i do think the question needs answering, 1-0 against a bottom of the table team , why are we hanging on and not finishing them when we have 3 attackers on the pitch

What's the point worrying about it
The one thing about this club that'll never change is when the pressure is on, they'll bottle it. It doesn't matter who's in charge or who's on the pitch, when they're really needed to do the job they'll fold.

The play offs will see us scared to move out of our own half and a team finishing miles behind us will beat us because of our spineless lack of belief and conviction.

And why bother going up anyway, every single game in the Premier League will see our "we are not worthy's" bottle it every week

exactly orlando, exactly

Blown it..phschologically that’s a massive blow to us and a boost for Leeds, they’ll be at it against the pigs.. I’m really surprised we’ve gone so far from what got us here, why have we abonded any positive attacking play..fear is killing us... feel awful tonight...why do they always do it to us... I don’t expect the pigs to do any favours.. and we’re hitting terrible form and performances at completely the wrong time..

Agreed with all the comments about us looking leggy. I honestly think that’s it, even if Wendy WIN later I just can’t see us winning all 4 and we need to.

You can’t not beat 20th at home if you want to go up.

The players took their lead from Wilder today. We were controlling the game until Sharp went off and the obvious move then was to put Hogan on to ensure we still had somebody beyond Madine. Instead we went negative and went with just one up front. From that point on it was obvious what was coming and we did absolutely nothing to stop it, even giving them several opportunities to score before they actually did. The Duffy substitution gave us the chance to take a positive step but instead we went even more negative and brought on Coutts who was completely anonymous. Previously we would’ve made the positive changes and we’d have gotten a second, today Wilder has decided to try and defend the 1-0.

Might be the only time we agree this. 100%

Players bottled it, Millwall did nothing until the goal, so we decided to give them every encouragement to go for it against us.

Fans were awful, I swear the majority of people that make a noise at all do it in a negative way, even when we have it better than we've had in a century.

Agree with the above, Leeds are lucky that it's us they have to challenge against - any other team as good as us would have won today.

We didn't go one upfront, Madine and Didsy played up top with Duffy behind. We just went to a back three again, which I wasn't complaining about tbh.

Norwich look like doing so...

The second half today demonstrated exactly why Wilder will never manage in the PL unless he takes us up there. He’s done brilliantly for us no doubt, but has his limits.

Excellent post
This has been coming for many many weeks.

We turned up at Hillsborough with absolutely nothing more ambitious than feeling a draw would be a good result, we both then bored the entire nation.
We went 1-0 up against Bristol City whilst having them under severe early pressure, then we stopped, after they equalised we went at it again and got 2-1 in front, then stopped and lost the game.
We got away with it against Preston who didn't have the luck or quality to equalise, and we did it again at Birmingham, we went in front and then went to sleep again, job done as some thought.

Wilder's attitude has changed, the pressure has changed his methods, and God knows why

In theory it was two up front but Didsy was still sat deeper, we didn’t have anyone beyond Madine for their defenders to worry about after Sharp went off.

Wilders comment on twitter is very contradictory to his sub in bringing Cranie on for Sharp is it not?

CW: We should have gone for the jugular when were ahead. There was more room to play in and spaces at the side of the centre halves.

He was only deeper because our whole team decided to drop deep, and also not press the ball in their half anymore. For that matter we didn't even press the ball in own half.
