We had a few back & forths on Jebbison and I think your opinion was fairly balanced.
He's not going to be our saviour and we wouldn't have recalled him but for an injury crisis. But that he only actually needs to be OKish to help us out between now & the end of the season.
I didn't actually want him back, until the very last week when it became clear McGoldrick & Brewster were goners.
I certainly wouldn't advocate on starting the lad based on what I've seen, but I do think it's a little bizarre that we've not given him a few more minutes in games when MGW, Berge & Sharp are all so crucial to our run-in and either have had, or are likely to have, injuries issues due to age (as has now transpired with Sharp).
I can only assume Jebbison's not showing enough in training.
I hope that's the case because if not, then Hecky has a blindspot where player rotation is concerned which would be more of an issue moving forwards.
