The pitch and Eagles

In light of the much talked about poor state of our pitch does anyone know if the Eagles have any games planned on it

I can't decide whether the pitch suits our style of play.
But this has got to be one of the most poorest states the pitch has been in.

Only the other week Danny was moaning about the state of the pitch... looks like the groundsman is for the sack!

Fortunately we play away every other week

Probably doesn't help watering the pitch at half time, when it's already raining.

Most clubs water the pitch before and during half time, nothing to do with that.

It needs keeping wet, as like most, it's based on sand.

Is it the fault of the Eagles? If so they shouldn't play any more matches at the Lane. Don Valley will be vacant again next season.

Can someone with IT knowledge make this board do some sort of cyclical post. Bearing in mind how many posts rotate on an annual basis? Perhaps in future we could do a "fill in the blanks" forum.

Good effort but a slight amendment to the list:

McCabe blames agents for lack of incoming activity in window.
McCabe blames agents for too much outgoing activity in the window.

You've neglected:
The kit is cheap and nasty (or too expensive, doesn't wash very well etc. ad infinitum).
The Chief Exec, what does he do? (or Battho/Pack/Dooley et al).
Who owns the freehold/hotel/training ground/pie concession.
Look at me I like getting pissed.
The FA, are they out to get us?
Radio Sheffield, biased, incompetant or both?

Stay behind after a game and you'll see them wheel out the artifical light machines. I don't think the state of the pitch is for want of trying to improve it.

ive seen them but compared to the ones used at top prem teams they are miniscule
