If anyone's bothered (!) Southend United are bottom of League Two, Scunthorpe United next to bottom, we could be the only SUFC in the football league (including Premier League of course). Having said that Sutton United are third in the 'non league' so there could be four SUFCs next season!

Said this before but some youth at Uni saw something of mine with “SUFC” written in it and said “Is vat Saaaaaaafend?”, cockney twat.

Bothered? At last a proper International Break thread!

Remarkably, until yesterday the 3 football league / prem league SUFCs had mustered just one win between them in 27 matches, surely a record?

But this was a fantastic weekend for SUFCs - The Shrimpers' first win of the season and just the second win for Scunny, and Sutton smashed Kings Lynn 5-1 to boot. Surely a good omen for our next game.

we are the oldest United keep telling Man u fan I know. thick twat.correctly describes them.

And then there were two.... Farewell Southend United, unless their pathetic attempt to stay up is successful.
Yes but Sutton United all set to replace them, currently top of the National League. Fighting it out with Torquay United - 1 point separates the top 2 with 5 games to play. The latter would become the football league's only TUFC, if promoted.

Another point of note: coincidently, both Sutton and Torquay have both played almost all their matches to a higher standard than we have this season.

Congratulations Sutton United in replacing Southend United as the third SUFC in the league. They are apparently going to have to spend over 100K on getting rid of their artificial pitch which isn't allowed in the football league.

Maybe not such a bad thing we didn't play this weekend given the results of the other SUFCs. Southend are thrashed 4-0 at home to Chesterfield and sack Phil Brown. Scunthorpe are hammered 6-1 at Harrogate after being five down at half time. (At least Sutton United beat Port Vale 4-3 with a last minute goal).
