They might not have been good enough when we were going for the premiership, were in league one, and playing like bobarr, so that player who wasn't gonna make it might seem like the one that got away..

I liked him too but as a defender he was an excellent sweeper but not many English teams played the sweeper system in those years. He struggled as a centre back in the English flat back 4 system so we played him in midfield

I always thought Francis had great potential. As Cooperblade said his attitude wasn't right when he was here and Francis has admitted that publicly. I think he would have been a Premiership player if his attitude had matched his ability.
