The next bladey blade manager

I can’t see past Dyche it would take something to get him here though but like Wilder he has a ‘Follow me lads’ attitude where they run through walls which plays to our Northerness. I’d imagine he’d want plenty of dosh to get him here.
There’s so much snobbery in football. It’s doesn’t half blinker folk.

Dyche would be unbelievable as an appointment. His ability to optimise resources is second to very few.

It’s annoying when some fail to recognise the style he adopts isn’t in some way aligned to the resources he has at his disposal. Playing exactly how Pep plays against Pep’s team is only going to garner one result. So you have to be smart and work on alternatives. He’s done that.

Only problem is, he’s just as likely to get the call form a Prem team that has made a bad start, than a Championship one.

By that same reference to snobbery, we’ve gone that way with anyone who has a Blades affiliation.

Monty would have been just as acceptable an appointment as Sellés. He’s actually won something in Australia. It was against the odds too. He built something there. He brought through youth.

Having your team competitive doesn’t mean we play negative kick and rush football all of a sudden. It didn’t work out at Hibs. That was a pity. But he is more qualified than Sellés to have gotten the job really. Timing may be off too as Forest have Juan appointed him and his assistant to Postecoglou’s staff. But he too should be a legitimate candidate.

Next Bladey Blade manager?

One who has managed a team to a title. One who was assistant coach at a team that won a European title.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the next Bladey Blade manager with a proven track record (in Australia) and still alive, Sir Nicholas “Monty” Montgomery…….

And a new candidate Conor Hourihane!

Is Norwood doing his badges, feel his skill with arm pointing would stand him in good stead.

Travis Binnion??
Totally agree well respected throughout the game and is v well thought of at Man U. Knows our club and I assume understands players and modern methods for coaching them

Warnock should have been back at the start of the the last international break
when Wilder had completely F'd up already
TO PROPERLY ASSESS the PLAYERS
with SENSIBLE POSITIONS
and SENSIBLE TACTICS
eg Tanganga is shit - get rid?
eg Bindon (loan) McGuiness Mee (Zatterstron, Baptiste from a distance) ARE worth keeping playing sensibly?
For the entire squad
He could have had input IF NOT CONTROL on the next options

eg Rob Page who was out of a job and ideal to bring in in place of Selles or rather BEFORE him

is now U-21 coach and unlike the imbecile is a proven good judge of young players
and was selected as an option by Basset for Judas McCabe years ago before his Wales job
So can also handle STAR players that megalomaniacal Wilder despises

One who I thought was a future manager has bombed out in Dean Saunders

Hecky should never have been sacked but the Wendies promoted that as they wanted the imbecile back to destroy their rivals - as he has and will continue to do

I dictated a list of candidates about a month ago but have not found it yet
BASED ON THE OWNERS CAT1 YOUTH ELEMENT EMPHASIS totally unsuited to the imbecile

So you don't rate Wilder but think 80 year old Warnock or Dean Saunders could do a job.

Got it...

He's 77. It doesn't matter how old someone is as long as they can still do the job. Anything else is classed as age discrimination.

Dave Bassett is only four years older than Warnock. Surprised he hasn't been suggested yet.

Manager - Wilder
DoF - Warnock (or Bassett)
Striker coach - Billy Sharp
Player / defence coach - Kyle Walker
Goalkeeping Coach - Paddy Kenny
Chief Executive - Chris Bashan

That would be goodbye to any hope of ever establishing ourselves as a PL club and an acceptance that those dizzy heights are not for the likes of parochial old us. But it would be entertaining I suppose, especially for pub landlords.

It never ceases to amaze me that people think that good players automatically make good managers/coaches despite the vast amount of evidence that it isn’t the case.

A bit of a ''woosh' moment there, Nick?

Roy Keane as a prime example.
