We look a much improved side on last year based on Henderson, Egan, Norwood and Mcgoldrick. When Coutts comes back Wilder is going to have a major headache choosing between him and Norwood. I definitley think we will improve on last year's final position based on the improvements Chris has made to the squad.

I think we may see both with a Fleck in a free role on occasion..or a flat 3 with all of them having freedom to move

Not bad . A side that's desperate for a couple of pacey forwards . 7 goals in 2 games. Maybe wilder has a plan B eh

If Fleck's picked up a groin injury they can be a month-six weeks, hopefully less. Coutts won't be back yet though so presumably Bash to come in or Lundstram.

As for the longer term its a nice problem to have and we need strength in numbers. Having to play Evans and Lundstram together cost us this season in the first two games. I still think Lundstram could be a player in time.

Our biggest problem last year was players fading towards the second half of the season.

Having 3 exceptional players for those 2 central positions should allow us to keep it fresh and stop players like Fleck getting jaded again.

He can’t do it week in week out mate, and tactics against certain teams can change.
Duff is simply class on form, other days it just doesn’t happen for him, but as you say it’s a good problem to have.
