It is now 11 league defeats out of 14 games this campaign, meaning by early November we have spent about 50% of the 'nil points' tokens you can possibly burn up before guaranteeing you are probably relegated in this division.

Last season, Cardiff, who finished bottom, lost 19 all season.

The rate of losses is now trending almost similarly to our astonishingly bad prem campaigns of 2020/21 and 2023/24.

Be in no doubt, we're not at 'threat' of the drop - we are by most metrics already plucked for the pot.

Was a disaster, i backed him as i do every manager...but this is wank..6 goals conceeded from winning positions in 2 out of three games amd a pasting at home in the middle of the sandwhich..

Hes gonna come out with, "scratching our heads: etc again..

Were scratching our heads again mate at how the fuck youre keeping your job..

A new Championship record for the highest number of defeats a team has suffered in their opening 14 matches since the EFL was restructured ahead of the 2004/5 season.
Record breakers again...go now

Ffs it's embarrassing. We broke a load of embarrassing records in the premier league, but we had Robbo and Trusty up against Haaland, Salah etc so almost understandable. But now we're breaking embarrassing records in a below average championship. Embarrassing. Really embarrassing.

Selles losing streak is under threat. I can’t see much improving until January.

The gap may be insurmountable by January much better tonight but still a loss need to beat QPR

We should never have gone back for wilder… never.. never … never

Owners no clue
Spineless players
Useless manager

It’s over already
Who should we have gone for then, bearing in mind they would have inherited the same group of players except Riedewald.

Dyche at the time was available

O’Neil was and still is available

I thought hecky and Stu were unfairly treated … I would have tried tempting them before going back a third time for this fool

Tezza - his players are pants - and i mean , pants - he changed tactics , before and during , he went two up top , he went more direct rather than pussying about ....his squad is woeful , this squad is going down i have absolutely no doubt whatsoever about it - you can taste it , smell it .

Not sure Dyche would have come down to championship, he always seems to wait for PL jobs.

O'Neil could have been a good shout but he's a bit of a gamble given his level of experience.

Some people (like betiiss) cant see past what they know, egg and chips, shag the missus, have a fag..

Like voting the way your dad did at 40, cus thats how its always been done in our house..

Got to be a rising manager who wants a big club and a project, we just need to get the right man..

The correct decision to can wilder, but a shocking decision on (the fraud?) Seles.

Thre were good managers out there, betiss had one name on the list.

Bettiiss out ? Is that a start to re building the whole club?

We are going round in cirles..

What would you do then?

Those couple seasons where we got battered week in week out has had some real impact on our club mentality. We're comfortable with losing. We're soft.

I would caveat we have faced a similar situation before in 13/14 when we were still in the bottom three in Feb but even then it took us until new years day to register 11 league defeats.

If we had scraped a couple of draws it would be something to throw our hat on.

It feels like since Wilder came back last time around we barely draw games.

They clearly thought it was as easy as getting Wilder to replace Selles and promotion was back on.

Fucking ridiculous way to run a football club.

Completely agree...

Ownership have proved everybody right that they were clueless .

You don't set somebody on because theyre "confident at a phone interview"

You appoint a manager deemed "better" tnan the one you have based on the career they have..or we can flush tens of millions down the drain and not care, why not throw a few quid at a good young manager?

It would be cheaper, and at some point you have your Ker chinng moment .

It sounded like Bettis wasn't included in the owners idea of appointing Selles.
According the RS interview other week.

Still not buying it.

We're not going down. Look at the teams in the top 6. League hasn't settled down yet
You are in denial...

Usually the top 6 remains relatively the same from the 12th game onwards...

That'll be no different this season.
