Club could partner with travel companies like east midland and cross country trains and others and sell combined packages / reduced day tickets but chooses not to.
Saw no blades on the trains to and from London yesterday.
Remote fans are not going to spend mega bucks on day train tickets every fortnight.
I was on the train from London on Saturday but didn't see any others either. It's a minimum £100 trip so I average about 6-8 home games a season. But one time you could get return to Sheffield from London for £19. It was a football targeted deal. That won't happen anymore.

Yes I've said it before
I looked from the outside for long enough and Brooks sale caused a reaction so I registered

So what ?

Piss league one with 100 points. Great manager. Take to the Championship like a duck to water. Thrash Wednesday at Hillsborough. Beat Leeds twice. Great football. Go top. Chance to get in the playoffs final day.

No reaction.

Sell a substitute.

Fuck this. Fuck that. Fuck United. Never do owt.

Maybe because I was happy posting on another board that has died a death recently

Read what was going on here but was happy posting elsewhere

I went on Saturday, can only make At most 3 or 4 games a season , we have excellent support for a club our size below is a breakdown of roughly what I spend before I even buy a pint
Bus out to airport €10
Flights €50 to €60 , Saturday’s was cheaper as no Manx clubs home on Saturday, when I was looking to book 2 weeks ago it was close to €200
Pigs game atm is €70 return
Train £29 return
Ticket £25
Taxi home from airport €45
So roughly 150 notes before I’ve bought a pint and spend between 60-80 pounds , on food / ale etc etc when home
So in total close to €250
If I could I’d do it every other week , like I used to do
We have a good fan base , and my Irish work mates can’t believe the size of the crowds we get for “ championship “ football

It's still stickball season so until that's done I won't be able to come - one more week!

I thought support was a defining factor of a clubs size?

He did say it wasn't his fault United were shit.........

How has it not done Bradford any good? The last time I went there to watch us, the ground was full, atmosphere was great. I’m not saying they’re perfect but there’s no need for the sarcasm. The point I’m making on ticket prices is about clubs in general, not just us.
It’s not done them any good because they remain a long standing third division club.

The ground is full, yet they don’t have a pot to piss in.

The key is revenue (not bums on seats), and Bradford’s is shit.

They have got the pricing wrong this year. The quality of football is not reflected by the price of the tickets.... 30 plus quid to watch an average championship side is way too much... people who are half and half whether to go just don't bother....

Cheap prices have worked pretty damn well for Huddersfield

30,000 £100 season tickets wouldn’t even cover Scott Hogan’s wages.

The fact that anyone floats it as a viable policy is laughable.

My parents come from Ireland and I've got hundreds and hundreds of family members living in various parts of Ireland, mainly in the South East, Wexford, Wexford County and Waterford.
None of them support United unfortunately

The biggest support in the area is Man Utd and Liverpool, obviously, but a surprise to some might be Leeds. Literally thousands of them in that area

They haven’t at all. Having a billionaire Charman has.

Huddersfield spent massively compared to us, and it wasn’t from revenue from ticket sales.

You mean the Prince isn't a billionaire afterall?

WTF I WANT A REFUND

Tickets prices too high for many unfortunately. How can those on min wage afford 28 quid for a ticket?

I know brother in law and father in law follow them , there’s hundreds of the fuckers over here ,

There's a lot of things in life that are unaffordable even if you're not on minimum wage. I can afford a season ticket but I've owned a hundred quid phone for the past 5 years instead of chasing the latest iphone, don't have tattoos at £100+ a pop plastered all over me, never bought a new car on finance at stupid interest rates and if I can't afford a holiday abroad every year I don't bother or worry about it. Football isn't the lowest common denominator nor should it be otherwise we'd still be standing in the shit tips of 40 years ago.
