Goals from from Sharp , Didsy and Clarke.

Sharps header was difficult to get in and Didsy kept his cool for a cheeky finish.

Shame it's all going to be overshadowed in the local media by Wendies play off campaign keeping its momentum going

But seriously, that second half is what we want, pace, quick thinking, determination to get to the loose ball first and when in space put the bleeding cross in

I didn't go today and I've not seen anything bar the BBC website.

Very impressive result given Derby's run. How was the performance? Back up towards our best?

First half not as bad a people are making out. Derby were the better side but we were 1-0 up. We had some OK spells but Derby looked threatening.

Second half, we started well and should have gone 2-0 up but a blatant penalty (and red card since it was an open goal) not given. Derby eent up the other end and equalised. Fans expected a collapse. The players got fired up and turn it up a notch (actually, three notches). We dominated the rest of the game, scoring twice but could and should have had more.

We can win big games.

After Derby had a good first half they completely lost their shape in the second. I think Fat Frank got over-confident.

Something fired is up, maybe Frank's spat with the gaffer? I dunno but the fire was back second half.

I think the penalty not being given and then the added injustice of Derby going down the other end and scoring infuriated our players

Perhaps that's the answer....... play angry
I think you could be spot on there, just watched the pen incident back and it's defo a pen. Difficult to see clearly from the upper corner but defo a pen.

I thought the backpass free-kick decision was an appalling one for the officials too. Both were so blatantly incorrect – the linesman that end had a mare on those incidents.

If Baldock can play like that every week Freeman hasn't got a chance of getting back in. Absolutely bossed it today for me.

McG correcting his chipped effort errors from the Reading game.

And a goal from Leon (lazy and past it - certain forum members) Clarke. I fucking love him.

What a performance second half, and we overcame injustice, which usually makes us withdraw a bit.

Mixed it up in the crossing department too.

Better than Christmas morning, bloody elated.

Didn't even look handball by JOC to me. At first I thought he'd won a free kick.

You mean the move where we opted not to cross it over early from the right and instead patiently worked it over to the other side till we created a better opening to cross?

No. Like I said, I mean the move where we put the ball in first time rather than fucking around with it.

After such a poor first 40, that second half was the most entertaining I’ve seen at the Lane it quite a while.

I think that the ref’s decision not to give the penalty to Goldie and then giving the soft free kick at the other end leading to their goal ended up helping us. It seemed to galvanise both the players and the the crowd. All of a sudden we had a extra yard of pace and were winning all the second balls.

Really enjoyed that and have pretty much lost my voice now.

That was incredibly difficult to see though.
I shouted back pass immediately

You'd have to be stood directly in line with it to see the deflection because it was so slight

Besides nothing came from the free kick anyway

What gets me though is why Carson picked it up

I mean why take the chance that the officials have seen it

After we’d had a crossing opportunity over on the right? Yes, I remember it. Fortunately we didn’t just cross it in at the first opportunity that came up, and instead worked it over to the left to ultimately a much better opportunity to cross was developed.

Thought he’s been poor in the recent appearances, but did very well today. Cleared off the line after Henderson had been bypassed 1st half, and 2nd half was much better in reading the play than he’d been since his return. His final ball is still a problem though – he seemed to take about 5 seconds deciding what to do before being snuffed out at the byline one one clear crossing/passing opportunity 2nd half. But he did well, won a lot of aerial balls near their box, and really helped us stay on the front foot – hopefully he can follow this us with some similar performances, because if he does then that’s a major plus going into the 2nd half of the season.

Officials had a mare in all honesty. Never handball against JOC, might have hit his hand but it looked as thought it bounced up out of nowhere. The pass back I didn't see properly but the hesitation from the ref said it all tbh, and it's as if he just listened to shout from the crowd. Shows you what vociferous crowd can do.

Recent results gave been determined by our defensive mistakes and before that we have been pretty solid on avoiding them. Time for us to be the beneficiary of some mistakes, deflections and bounces. A team that plays as well as we consistently have been will what it deserves eventually. Optimism feeds success so let's be glss half full today and back our superb lads who don't get the respect they deserve

Both Smug and Happy . UTMB

How good to see none other than The Crab on the front row of the SS, behind a shot of Wilder, on the EFL highlights of yesterday's game. A highlight of the highlights, and further evidence that Colin Murray knows his, err, budget airline magnates.

Here's hoping that the Happy Shopper Freddie Laker will grace plenty more home games, and a whack more highlights reels, before season's end.

Was I on tv? I would say I hope they got my good side but I just have two fucking awful ones.

Nice to be on something other than Aircrash investigation though......

You were there, but a bit blurry :) It was during either a Wilder goal celebration or the handbags with Wank Lampard.

I'm always grateful that we sit just a couple of rows higher up, and forever out of shot ...
