just as an aside if any team can blow a relegation battle - we can.

Oh for gods sake, we've played eight games and already talk of relegation! We're not as bad as you're making out and a couple of players back from injury and a couple of players in and it will all change. Let's just see where we are at Christmas. There are lots of us that can see changes for the better, so why can't you? Or haven't you actually seen us much this season? Perhaps the silky skills of Chelsea and Newcastle are swaying your opinion.
Is that QPR that are top of the league and look unstoppable? And the Scunny result, in my eyes was a freak result. What about the teams that have had 6 put past them. It's a weird league where anyone can beat anyone and sooner or later we'll come good. I'll be quite happy if we're in the top half at Christmas and I think that's more likely than the bottom three.
I don't know what we need .... but we need sumat.
What i do know is over recent years money at BDTBL has been wasted on a level to compete with the loonie labour party !![]()
We were shit before Speed changed the style. There's no real evidence that if he reverted to hoof, things would pick up. Our main striker is guff - I don't think it's a lot more complicated than that.

To think what a hotbed Elland Road once was. It was like a library, but the Blades fans were excellent today.

Taking on board all you say, its a bit rich lumping into Len for being negative when we currently sit 18th in the table and have one of the worst goal differences in the league. Even if you don't agree with what the guy says you have to say his argument stacks up currently.
Had I heard or seen anything to give me positivity I would take it, but when you take into account who we have played and how we have played its fair for people to be shitting themselves right now isn't it? I know I am, we look poor and its debatable whether we have improved under Speed from where we were with Blackwell in charge. Our best result this season is arguably the away point at Cardiff. I can't even say that we are going to hammer someone soon, because we aren't with that front line.
If we had won on Saturday, and yes I realise we didn't, where would we be in the league? It's just all too close at the moment and two wins on the trot and we'd be there or thereabouts. No need for contemplating suicide just yet!

I'm surprised there hasn't been a headline in the national press along the lines of...
"5 games into a season with a mediocre squad, terrible playing style and limited/no resources, new manager is taking time to make an impression and change things"
...seriously though, anyone reading on here would think this was some kind of revelation. We won't win every game, we might struggle, it will take time. It's no more complex than that.
There's got to be a serious concern that we won't win enough to stay up, though.
