What the fuck was that all about?

Baldock off to the bench, not down the tunnel. Lafferty into midfield... why? Basham out to wing back.

If we looked bad before we looked even worse after that. Lafferty is absolutely not a centre mid. Then we brought Slater on 10 minutes later anyway?!

Bizarre.

Seemed strange but didn’t appear to significantly impact on the pattern of the game. Callum Robinson was a major threat.

Course it did. We had absolutely no threat at all once he went off. And Lafferty In midfield is something I wish not to see again.

Baldock had taken a knock earlier on and might not be fully match fit yet?

We were much better after the substitutions.,

Lafferty went into midfield against Ipswich at home as well. He's got a decent left foot, while also being fairly athletic, so I think Wilder put him on to add fresh legs and maybe have a go at goal if he got the chance.

At this moment, Wilder is forced to consider a few options. We can't keep thinking our current XI are going to dominate and outplay teams in this division.

Were you actually there?

We were awful until the substitutions. We improved enormously after that. That’s just a statement of fact.
Absolutely was. We were awful after them.

Ah okay. You’re just trolling then, I’ll leave you to it.
We had absolutely no quality in the final third whatsoever... just decided to stop hoofing it after around 75 mins that’s all. Could’ve done that with Carruthers on. Did we create some immaculate chances I’m missing once Lafferty came on?

Slater looked decent.

I know you’ve got a reputation as an attention seeker, but I was giving you the benefit of the doubt.

We weren’t good after the substitutions, but we improved significantly. We were being overrun at that point. How anyone could see that differently is utterly bizarre ( usual agendas aside).

If you thought we were good after the subs I’m quite sad for you. We played better in games in League One than that. At no point today were we anything better than poor.

We’re you not able to read the post you were responding to, because that reply doesn’t make sense. Go back and re read it.

We went long when CD came on as a plan B. The midfield 3 were 100% inaffective so it made perfect sense to bypass them and go long ball.

Pretty obvious if you ask me.

As soon as Fleck Duff and Brooks are back we will see an upturn in performances throughout the team.

You thought we improved significantly. Must have thought we were somehow good.

Callum Robinson was a major threat

Yep agree with that - had my nipper tell me who their no 37 was as he caught the eye early on.

Interesting comment though walking back to the car from a couple of Preston fans - "that's the best he's played all season"

Not sure what he was thinking by bringing him on.

We may have injury problems at the moment but some of Wilder's decisions during a match have been baffling.

Last few games definitely. Think this winless run is affecting him as much as the players to be honest. We need a win to get everyone back to normal.

the problem these days alco is the facebook feed - "most" people are there these days.

Agree though, the subs did make us a tad better.

Some of the intelligentsia on the Facebook feed. Jesus wept.

“Wilder Out”

“Relegation on the cards”

I’ve seen scotch eggs with more intellect.

The point was that they can watch the whole game live these days - not the crap that is posted online.

as for the comments from fans on FB - I was in row 25 and a bunch behind us were just giving the crap out the whole 2nd half.

"Clarke? - you're a cunt" came out numerous times - that sort of crap isn't needed anywhere, but it's the worst I've heard for a while.
