Despite losing and not being at their best today,as soon as the ref blew his final whistle, the Kop seemed ,to a man,to start applauding the players as if they had just won 6-0.I found myself applauding the Kop and then the players.
Just shows the togetherness throughout the Club.Long may it remain.

Excellent from the fans today I thought (barring the throwing obviously). Nice to see that they applauded the team off because it's easy to boo after a loss but most of the fans know we more than matched an established Championship team. Two years ago they were in the Prem and we finished mid table in League One. We have taken massive strides

Love it, the togetherness between fans and team is like nothing I've seen in my lifetime.

99% of the blades appreciate what is going on at the lane at the minute. They can look through the result and see the bigger picture. It's a shame some just can't wait to knock us and try to neg everyone else out. These were probably calling for wilders head after 4 games last season.

I did worry that our start would get our fans thinking we should win every game but I was pleasantly surprised today by the reaction to the loss.

It was great for the players to see that and Wilder made a point about it in his interview. It's something that will stick in their minds.

This team deserves such support and they'll continue to get it as long as they continue applying themselves as they are, regardless of results.

Shit happens. We gave a decent display today, unfortunately we couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo but the lads did well as a team. Had sharpie been on then we would be top now. My MOM' Bash as always or maybe Fleck.
