United have now kept seven consecutive clean sheets:
Leeds Knill United 1
United 2 Brentford Knill
United 2 Rotherham Knill
Wednesday Knill United nil
WBA Knill United 1
United 4 Reading Knill
United 1 Middlesbrough Knill

The long standing record of seven clean sheets from the 1970/71 season was broken by Nigel Clough in 2014 and means that United's all time eight match run can be matched if we can keep Bristol City out in our next match. Setting up the potential for a record breaking ninth match when the opposition score Knill on the 6th of April away at PNE. March 22nd is United 130th birthday and what a way to celebrate the joy of Knill.

What a fantastic way to use our assistant managers name as another way of saying zero, naught, nothing.

Sheffield United assistant manager Alan Knill has a shameful skeleton in his closet.

The lanky ex-defender killed an innocent squirrel in a cycling accident in 2012.

The squirrel was brutally eviscerated in the accident which Knill walked away from with minor injuries.

I actually met Alan at the player of the year awards dinner after the league 1 promotion season. We ended up talking about this incident and he kept referring to squirrel as vermin who had it out for him.

He then went onto his phone to show me a photo of the squirrel headless and stuck in his bike spokes - funniest thing was is that this was the only picture he had on his phone!
