I've never really liked the term '6-pointer' (or '4-pointer' as it was back in the day) because you still only get 3 points. Yes, you force your opponents to lose ground, but only by 3 points!!
Having said that, those '6-pointers' are so important to win and it does actually create a 6 point swing (I think I just countered my own argument there!)
If we had beaten Fleetwood at home instead of losing, we'd be all but up by now (16 clear of them with 7 games to go)
Likewise, a win at Bolton would have had us as clear title favourites with a 10 point lead over them.
Looking at it the other way of course, if Bolton had beaten us at the Lane, it would be us chasing them now!
It's making that demolition of Bolton and last minute EEL equaliser at Fleetwood look like majorly important moments in our season at the moment.
That, and the fact that Chris Wilder is an absolute genius of a manager
