I hope the manager reminds the u-21 "coach" to get on with his own job, and leave first-team affairs to him.

There you go again with your agenda. Pitiful.
You seem to think that "limited" players (which Morgan wasn't) are incapable of coaching. Tell that to Mourinho & Wenger.
You are getting very tedious with your anti Morgan agenda now, but I guess it suits your Bladey Blade agenda. He is a very highly qualified coach who has been retained by a number of different regimes & has been instrumental in the integration of a number of very promising young players into the first team squad. Give it a rest, eh? You have become a crashing bore.
It wouldn't be so bad if you would be prepared to spout your crap to his face but, knowing you personally, I have my doubts over that.
Really? Bring him on!
As for crap:
Morgan not limited? Ah, those silky Beckenbauer skills..those educated balls into midfield...those forward runs..
Retained by a number of regimes? Foisted on them, more like. Appointed a coach for financial reasons only. Utterly out of his depth as a Caretaker Manager (Portsmouth, Yeovil to name but two abject surrenders). Not a trace of a mention of "promising coach Chris Morgan" in connection with the countless lower and non-league vacancies that have arisen since his cost-cutting appointment.
Nick, I know you long for the return of Bassett and a Bassett/Warnock/Morgan dream team but really, mate, times have changed and some of us want a little bit better for our club. Do consider a move into the 20th Century. Boldly go where no Bladey Blade has gone before...
Really? I haven't checked, but I thought N2 signed Billy at Scunny, Saints and Reading.
In which case, he signed Forte 2/3rds the number of times he signed Billy, though maths isn't my strong point.
You have no idea what level I played at, have you
Ah the old "you know nothing about football" line. Always the last resort when faced with intelligent argument.
Actually I have, I met somebody recently who used to be in Chambers with you. Not that it matters, but you probably got slightly further than Mourinho. Not as far as me though.
But you are still coming out with your tired old "upandatem" rhetoric in relation to me, despite my previous post. Are you stupid or just myopic? Read it again.
I support & respect Chris Morgan, knowing far more about him as a footballer, man, coach & motivater than you do. I also know more about football than you, for all your pomposity. Sorry if that offends, but sometimes stupidity needs confronting. Enough said, I think.
I would love to see some intelligent argument from you. Ranting, pomposity, condescension & bullying, yes. Also ignorance. But no intelligent argument.
Len Lite.
You really have lost the plot, Nick. Go and have a sleep. You need a rest. Perhaps dream of your playing and coaching achievements?
You hate being put on the defensive, don't you
I've heard that's your Achilles Heel in court too, not great under pressure, could have been a good career otherwise
All this because I dare to not recognise the genius of Good 'Ol Honest Hoofer Morgs? My word, you must have had a bad day.
Good night, Nick. I'm off for forty winks before I crumble under pressure, yet again, tomorrow.
Let's talk when you've calmed down a bit, eh?
Ok...
We are having some landscape gardening work done by a bloke who is a LUFC season ticket holder and his brother works for a firm of solicitors that have a contract with BAE Systems at Warton. His bro apparently knows someone there who worked on the stealth systems of the Typhoon Euro Fighter and does a lot of hush hush work for DARPA in the States. Apparently this technician was recently on business in Saudi to help sell aircraft tech for the yanks when he got invited to a get together at a posh hotel where there were a few influential members of the Saudi royal family and government present. As he was making small talk with a group of them, he got into a conversation with a dapper bald headed american gentleman with a beard. The american guy, noticing his english accent asked him which football team he supported. Not having an interest in football, he shook his head and said that he wasn't really into sport. Giving him a quizzical look, the yank leaned in and whispered "See that Saudi gentleman over there stood amongst the royal entourage?"
"What the rather large, middle aged guy with the bald head and spectacles?" said the technician
"That's right" said the american.
"What about him?" He enquired.
The american leaned in a bit closer and said in no uncertain terms "Even that fat fucker can hit a cows arse with a banjo."
Oh dear, you are beginning to sound like Len.Really? Bring him on!

Naw, Brian played for the Arbour but never to my knowledge, managed them. He managed Ball Albion on Sunday and Arthur Lees on Saturday for a good number of years. He was a bit like Warnock, high turnover of players around a trusted core group. Plenty of gob but little technical knowledge, perfect for pub football!I believe Brian the Blade managed Arbouthorne E.A., a long established and highly respected local club, did he not. I dare say he thinks he knows his stuff too.
Post of 2015 so farOh dear, you are beginning to sound like Len.

A fascinating debate with plenty of personal insults BTW!
Don't take Pinchy too serious Nick, he probably loves Morgs really but enjoys the sport of baiting on here too much to tell the real truth of his feelings.
However Nick, you've given him a great run for his money on this one![]()

Based on what?Good luck to the bloke , he has been a good club servant , but coaching at the lane - not for me.
I don't get the anti Morgan stuff. What does anyone know about his coaching abilities? I know next to nothing, and I suspect so does everyone else.
I would love to see some intelligent argument from you. Ranting, pomposity, condescension & bullying, yes. Also ignorance. But no intelligent argument.

Spot on Alco. No evidence whatsoever to say he's errrr.. ' clueless', oh wait, a short caretaker spell gave plenty on here the chance to reject any ability CM may have.Based on what?

I've come to accept that Pinchy will automatically reject anything from the past, because he's wedded to the line that "pure" football is the only way to deliver success. 5 years of being continually proved wrong hasn't altered that - so it's not going to change.
But where do others who don't rate him draw this opinion from?
