I have always liked Norwood but have been critical of him at times last season and this, particularly when he was seemingly being nesh.
As one other poster quite rightly said, if there is no movement or players showing for the ball / moving into space, it makes him look like he’s dog shit.
In recent weeks where the movement has been so much better, he (and hourihabe) has been the fulcrum which enables us to switch sides so effortlessly.
Never more obvious than against Udders where we were much less fluid.
I also think that Fleck has been pretty poor for about 18 months. Maybe he will pick up?
As with probably every club, there will be a percentage of people who readily scream and write abuse about our players being the worst thing to do ever darken our doors, then laud them as the new messiah without any sense of irony.
What does really grip my shit though is people who have a fit when a player is rightly criticised for a poor performance and call the poster a ‘pig’ or other such abuse for daring to air an opinion.
Fans are rightly entitled to identify when a player has a poor game but I suppose it is about balance and being constructive.
Maybe that’s just a maturity thing. Pretty sure I gave Andy Scott dogs abuse from the safety of the back of the Kop in the mid 90’s.
